Game Downtime - March 24th:

The game is currently down for some critical maintenance. As of now, we expect it to be down for most of the 25th. We're working on it and will have it up as soon as we can.
We will post more when we have more information. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

I wanted to give you all an update.
Our work is still ongoing, but we're taking a break for the evening. We'll continue again tomorrow.
We'll let you know when we have more information we can share and if we have an estimate on when we'll be able to bring the game back online. Currently we think we might have it ready by late tomorrow.

Unfortunately, we couldn't get everything shipshape today, but we're working hard to get it all sorted out as soon as we can.
I know it's hard not being able to play; it is for us too. However, it was unavoidable and couldn't be delayed.

A few days ago we experienced a security breech that we believe has now been corrected. I'll be posting more detailed information about that later. At this time, our servers are secured.
Our developers are currently bringing the game back online. You'll notice that the servers were rolled back to March 22, 2022, 10:56 PM PDT. The game was down the bulk of that time, however it's still possible that progress was lost if you were logged in after that time, but before we took the game down. We spent a large number of hours trying to avoid a rollback, but it became clear that we didn't have a choice and that it was in the best interest of our community.
We are still working on restoring purchases for those of you who made one that was rolled back. This takes some time because we're doing it by manual review to make sure you get everything you should. We expect this to be completed within a day or so and will post here when have finished processing all of them. We've also reverted all "coinscriptions" done during this time. We know that many of you used this feature to access Ice for updates on the situation, so we wanted to make sure you got those doubloons back. If you still want to be coinscribed, you can do it again now.
A rollback is pretty complicated and can have some unforeseen issues arise. It's possible we have to fix some lingering issues or even have some more downtime today. Our developers are actively monitoring the game to make sure everything is working as it should be.
We want to apologize to those who lost progress or were inconvenienced in any way by this rollback and downtime. While we are not able to restore any progress you made during these few hours, we did correct the damage this person did.
If you run into a problem with this rollback because you're still missing a purchase after we're done processing them, or there's another issue with your account, please email support@puzzlepirates.com. We have a number of emails to get through, so it may take some time for us to respond.

We've completed processing all payments that were missing because of the rollback. If you're having an issue with a purchase, please contact support@puzzlepirates.com.
Subscription time that was gifted to another pirate was also rolled back. The time should be on your account if you'd like to gift it again.

I'll be posting more detailed information about what happened later. For now, I want to assure people that we have taken the steps needed to prevent this from happening again, and are continuing to add several additional measures to safeguard the game.
Recent activities:
- Support and the Developers are continuing to work to fix problems related to the rollback.
- We've extended all badges and subscriptions by 11 days. Hopefully this helps with some of the lost time our community experienced.
- You can expect to see several extra competitions running this week.
