A poem for piracy

Piracy

Curious the abstract time and space defined by keyboard, screen,
A place where pirates brawl, contained their world in pixel form.
They navigate across the oceans on dancing ships of rendered wood,
Quick emotions typed in text, each encounter a timely death.

Cautious of the falling blade, the cannonball across the deck,
All made cyber safe, suspended reality for the buccaneer.
Behind bright composite parts of uniform, bandana, feathered hat
Real hearts beat, shared thoughts and goals, spirits coalesce.

Interesting, complex, yet always fun the imagination raw,
The puzzle is uncovered 'make virtual love, not real war'.
