Yay! My birthday is coming!! I couldnt think of a better way of celebrating than giving out prizes. -But you are going to have to earn them! Heres how... Write me a song. It must meet the following requirements: 1. It must have my name in it (Taco) 2. It must be birthdayish in some way (It is my birthday after all) 3. It must be piratey in some way (Well duh!) Post yer entries here, you have until the 16th of February (my birthday!). PLease please please post your pirate name, Im not going to try to guess who you are from your forum name or signature. I am available in game (usually on Alpha dock) alot if you would like to ask me any questions to help you write. If you cant find me, shoot me a PM. Prizes!! Ohhh the fun part! I will be the solo judge of this event, if i somehow remain undecided, I will have me hubby (Apatchebeard) give a hand. 1st place: War Brig 2nd place: Cutter 3rd place: Sloop (I realized this has limited this contest to subscribers only, so I offer this - For ONE nonsubscribers only, in lieu of the afore listed boats, 40k, 20k, or 10k respectively.) **By time this contest ends I will have enough poes on Cobalt to provide either the cutter or sloop there. (Would have to be ordered of course.) Ohhhh, and what would one of my events be without some ebilness?? Well, here goes some.. For those daring enough to actually sing their songs.....(yes i am aware not everyone has a mic to do this with - NO CRYBABIES - they are cheap at Walmart) Save yourself singing the song and email me the file. My email address is frogtacos@hotmail.com - put the event name in the title and make sure I reply that I have received it! Please also add your pirate name. -Singers, you must post yer lyrics. If you email me a file of you singing, but no posted lyrics, Im going to throw it out. You do NOT have to sing well!! I love anyone bold enough to embarrass themselves! No music need accompany it. Yes, more prizes!!! Ok, im not going to say these go to the "best" songs actually sung, but they will go to the ones I like the best. (That makes sense in my mind) For my favorite 3 singers: 1st place: War brig 2nd place: Cutter 3rd place: Sloop Yes it is possible to double up on prizes, but im not going to say if you win the war brig for written you will also get it for singing... Hey Taco....This is Smigee on the midnight ocean. Remember ye gave me advice for buying that sloop. ;-) Well, anyway, i saw you in this contest so I figured, what the heck! I'll give it a shot! Taco's worth it. :) The Birthday Song for Taco Well Taco the first time I saw you, your name made my stomach growl. And I really had the urge to talk to you, but didn't know how. I hear your birthday is coming, it's gonna be a blast, but believe me when I say this, they come and go way too fast. Gunning and Bilging, so much more, but watch out for those brigands, they're known for being hardcore!
