Here we go again!! We'll be creating whisks to creatively named ships throughout the year. These will be special locations for you to take portraits solo, with your friends, and maybe with an Ocean Master or two. We will be posting dates and unique ship names for each ocean. There will be a whisk on the events tab of the notice board which will remain up for the whole day or longer. These are NOT free portraits - it's just an opportunity for you to get a portrait with a special ship name and maybe a special background. We will be choosing names based on the season, holidays, special in game events or the current theme for the limited edition portrait backgrounds. There may be random portrait ships put up in addition to these during the year, but they will not be preannounced here. Feel free to make suggestions here. Remember it needs to make sense in the following phrase: "Commissioned by Hera on the fine vessel ..........." The ship names should be unique and not exist on the ocean. We may end up having different, but similar, ship names on different oceans. Remember that excitement we had for 2020? Yeah..... Hoping 2021 will be a luckier year! (Fingers crossed, knock on wood, etc, etc...)  January 01 and we are saying "Hello Twenty Twenty One" January 13 is Rubber Ducky Day! Celebrate on board the fine vessel"Yellow Rubber Ducky" January 29 is Puzzle Day! Will you be "Getting Incredibles" or "Booching Badly" January 31st is Backwards Day! All aboard "yaD sdrawkcaB" February 12th is Chinese New Year! Celebrate on board "Year of the Ox" February 14th is Valentines! Pick how you want to celebrate either on board the "Lovesick Leviathan" or "Love Stinks" February 20th is Love Your Pet Day! Smooch yer pets and be "Fur-ever Fur-ends" February 26th is Tell a Fairy Tale Day! Excellent stories start with "Once Upon A Time" March 3rd is I Want You To Be Happy Day! Leap aboard the fine vessel "Full of Smiles and Joy" March 14th is Pie Day! Help yerself to a "Slice of Pi" March 17th is St Patricks Day! Celebrate on board "Shamrock On" or "Feeling Green" March 22nd is World Water Day! Will you be "in hot water" April 1st is April Fools! Will you be "wearing funny glasses" April 2nd is Easter! Pick between "covered in eggs" or "of rabbits" April 7th is World Health Day! Celebrate on board"Wash Your Hands" April 25th is ANZAC Day! Laze on board while "taking a nap" July 30th is International Day of Friendship! Will you be "Be My Hearty" August 1st is the beginning of August! Such an "August Occasion" August 12th is the peak of the Perseid Shower! Gaze in awe at the "Raining Fire" August 16th is Rum Day! Cheers on board the "Barrels o' Rum" August 26th is Women's Equality Day! Oh, aye! Hi Hera, Is there any chance we can get a change-up to the current lineup of portrait backgrounds? Either new ones or re-releasing old ones? There's quite a few nice portrait backgrounds that I really enjoyed back when I last played 7 years ago. Y'all should be seeing different Valentines Day options for portrait backgrounds soon, so keep an eye on those easels!
