Ahoy!

As some of you know, there was an issue where an account from a former staff member was compromised. Because of this we rolled back the servers several hours (from today around 12:45pm back about 10 hours). Neither the game itself nor our servers were "hacked" or otherwise compromised.

Please rest assured that this person did not have access to your private information or accounts beyond what is viewable in game. The only exception is your IP, but only if you were online and they specifically looked you up. If this makes you uncomfortable, you should take steps to change your IP. If you don't know how, you can contact your service provider.

To be clear, this means that they did not have access to your billing, real life information, support history, or in game history.

This is a good reminder to everyone, us included, to regularly change your password. Please take the time to review the information below:

We want to apologize to those who lost progress or were inconvenienced in any way by this rollback. While we are not able to restore any progress you made during these few hours, we did correct the damage this person did. However, if you run into a problem with this rollback because you're missing a purchase or there's another issue with your account, please email support@puzzlepirates.com. We have a number of emails to get through, so it may take some time for us to respond.
