Hello! I made a discussion topic about it, on steam forums as well..
The game won't run on steam it will either give an error and stops running.
and trying to reload keeps white. Trying to install from the website gives another error.

PROBLEM SOLVED (non steam version):
1. Open Control Panel and click on view by: Small icons.
2. Choose Java
3. Click Security Tab Enable Java content for browser.
4. Click Edit Site List. Add: https://puzzlepirates.com
5. Restart browsers, reclick on installer.
6. Booty for everyone! and that worked for me!

Can you not install the non-Steam desktop version?
It is rather dangerous for Java to be enabled in Web browsers. I am thankful that your Java installation has a whitelist that you are using, and that you have specified secure, encrypted HTTPS.

This should limit your exposure to malware that uses Java as a vector for infecting computers. It happened very often and all browser manufacturers removed Java support for this reason and others.

It is highly preferred that you run the desktop client if at all possible. The installer should be readily available from the official website.
