Eggy Doodle 1: 25th March 2013 Contest opens now. Contest closes at 12noon game time on 26th March 2013. (that's about 26 hours from time of posting). Use /info in-game to find current game time and date.  Today's doodle is inspired by Greylady's 7th prizewinning egg, the delightful blue bird. As I write this, we have a few hours left to purchase spring green mystery boxes, including the very entertaining octopus with sleeping cap and eye patch! Obviously, my thoughts are going to future promotions, and wondering just what an accessorized parrot might look like...! Your task, then, is to draw a picture of an in-game parrot, along with one or two accessories. The parrot doesn't have to be displayed exactly how it appears in game, of course - but base its coloring and shape on the in-game bird. -- Your parrot must have either one or two accessories - a pair of something counts as one accessory (e.g. a pair of socks counts as one accessory). -- You may draw on the computer, or on paper, or a hybrid. Painting or similar is also fine. If you create a real-life picture, you will need to take a digital picture or scan of it. -- You will need to create a final image that is no larger than 600 x 600 pixels, then save it as a .jpg or .png. -- You'll then need to upload it to a hosting site - either web space of your own, or one of the many file hosting services available, such as flickr.com, photobucket.com, imageshack.com. You then have a url for your image. -- Make sure your image links do not require viewers to register or download anything. Use the "Preview" button before posting your entry, to make sure the image is showing correctly. Remember to press "Reply to this post" instead of "Post new thread"! -- You will include your final image as an image in the your entry post using image tags, as shown here So your entry post should include: * pirate name and ocean * a title explaining what your accessories are (remember, only one or two are permitted) * your final picture in image tags, no larger than 600 x 600 pixels As a reminder, please read the general rules before posting. Dexla ~ Cerulean You never said end result had to be piratey, or that it had to be restricted to in-game accessories! You know what happens when you don't spell out specific rules for Dex.... she gets a I scratched the fez idea cause I truly wish there was a sonic screwdriver around when I'm bnavving. And bow ties ARE cool, no doubt about it. When we finally reach that point in the future when we have the DoctorPirate WhoBeard promo, I'll be buying many mystery boxes... Cattrin on Cerulean I decided to use trinkets over clothing, they're more likely to be the correct size for a parrot!  Don't know if yer parrot's a lady or not? You know now! rhodanite of cerulean edit for clarification Midriff/Rag Skirt + Top Hat is my Current outfit I deem that a Set as I do all my outfits. Injuries (I've all 4...although in this version you wouldnt be able to see the eyepatch on birdie)=Also a set...even though in the normal scheme of things I do not consider them accessories. Greylady of Meridian Here is my Musketeer Parrot, wearing his lovely Musketeer Hat and sporting a shiny gold earring. Sugerxx of Meridian! I decided to incorporate the two accessories that I wear the most in real life, and that is a pair of sunglasses and my (very well loved) leather jacket! What is this? A Burglar Parrot! With his trench coat to conceal any weapons and a ski mask he is ready to rob that bank! Or ship! Or hidden buried treasure on that island! Whatever! He also does not like ironing his coat and mask, hence the wrinkles.
