With further investigation of the new template of the emerald map, here are my conclusions: 1) Sage's islands will still be the middle of the action. 2) The Dodo archipelago is way too out of the way. 3) Aim and Pukru seem to be drifting too far away from what most of the pre-investigators see as the main few islands. http://yppedia.puzzlepirates.com/Template:Map:Emerald_Ocean Explore away, me hearties... oh and those who I don't like, you can too |

Interesting though. From a strategic point of view, it conceivably makes Hinga and Tichka Plateau the more important Large islands on Sage, whereas previously my impression was that Admiral retained strategic importance not only from having opened early, but also because of its location in the ocean. Alternatively, will Sayer's Rock become where it's all happenin', from being about the centre of everything? P.S. I propose naming the area of ocean surrounded by the new Sage-Hunter routes and the furthest-East islands of Sage/furthest-West islands of Hunter "The Rung Sea" (it's an anagram of Sage and Hunter). Admiral is the new Arakoua... nice...
