Tuesday Tuesday Tuesday! Hoys everyone! All day on the 27th of December we'll be hanging out in our Flag Hall down on Spring, holding merry events and funtimes! Tournaments will be held, the Santa Challenge will occur, and the Secret Santa gifts will be exchanged! And we can hang out in our super-awesome grandiose flag hall! Because we're super-awesome, if you hadn't noticed. YOU are invited! Yes, you. Invite yer hearties, invite the random docktarts on the side of the ocean, invite the old salts at the inn...everyone is welcome for this event! We'll be holding a "Party" on the notice board, as well as advertising this on the ocean as just a place to drink and be merry. The overall event: Otherworld will be hosting a party through the day on the 27th in their Flag Hall for everyone to have a good time if they so desire! We'll be hosting local tournaments with prizes ranging from poe to trinkets to ships to whatever we can find in Gelf's wig. Come by whenever you feel like it! Everyone is welcome! Send Marmy, Silverstache, Howee or Gelflord a tell for an invite, or take a peek at the notice board for an event whisk! At around 4pm Pirate Time our Santa Challenge will occur! The rules and rhymes are below :D 'Twas a couple days after Christmas, and all through the ocean Not a pirate was stirring, but there was a notion. A notion of fun and joy, the spirit of holiday When Otherworld hosted a grand partay! The 27th of December and all through the hall the festivities are everywhere, fun had by all. Suddenly a noise came from up in the garden, And a pirate appeared to ask Marmy her pardon. Gelflord, dressed in red from boots to jaws, Looked a mite like Santa Claus! Howee in green tapdanced into the room, with an elf hat on his head and a pea for the groom. Delores and Waterspout hand in hand came in tow, In red and blue underneath the mistletoe. Akgemini entered, all dressed in orange, But somehow became stuck on the flag hall's door-hinge. Of course the pride and beauty of the house, entered Silverstache, Santa Claus' spouse. Stuck under their hats were a whole bunch of presents, For all of the pirates and their little pet pheasants. Through the arch they scattered like a bunch of scared bots, But the pirates followed, for the presents they sought. Found Santa they did, and he did woe For they won all his gifts from him and got all his poe. With a jolly laugh and a tip of the wig They whisked away to the North Pole, dancing a jig. As all the pirates sat enthralled, "Happy Holidays from Otherworld!" they called. The rules: Santa, his "wife", and his crew of merry elf friends have hidden in the mesh of their hats a grand scheme. Find them in the Emerald Arch, challenge them to a 1v1 Swordfight or Rumble and win, and you will be awarded their hat! Get the hat safely back to the home base of the Gardens in the Flag Hall (location subject to change), and you'll be awarded a prize depending on the hat! Unfortunately, once you have the hat in your possession, any other participating pirate may now challenge you to a 1v1 match! If you lose, fork over that hat and go looking for another hat. If you lose the challenge, you are permitted to re-challenge once per pirate you're challenging. For example, if you've challenged Waterspout twice and lost twice, you cannot re-challenge him again. All pirates will be jobbed into the Mad Mutineers crew for this event. Invites to the Flag Hall can be requested of Marmy, who'll be sitting in the hall as our housekeeper. The cast: Gelflord as Santa Claus (stuffed his shirt with a wig). Get his hat to get a Verdant Sloop the Blossoming Marlin, Hera Egg, a Chocolate Painted chest, a Treasure Chest (the one with the gold), and Aere's prize-winning egg (yum, chocolate eggs...) Silverstache as Mrs. Claus (wait, what?) Win her wig for a Chroma Set of an Ice Blue, Wine, and Banana chroma! Howee as the Green Elf (the colour of his peeeeea! ...Maybe he should go get that checked out.) Beat him and get a CI set - crossed spears (tan), 2 fancy crossed spears (tan, green+purple), Necromancer Table, and a Cursed Sloop! Akgemini as the Orange Elf (Here comes the sun, doo do do dooo!) He's hiding a Harvest Class sloop, the Fertile Stickleback under his hat. It's so purdy. Delores as the Red Elf (D'awwww, ain't she adorable!?). She's baked a Gingerbread class sloop, the Delectable Hake. Mmmmmmm yummy. Waterspout as the Blue Elf (Get it? Waterspout? Water? Blue? Hahaha?). He loves to swim and found an Atlantean Furniture set consisting of a Broken Amphora, Atlantean statue, Crossed tridents (atlantean), a gorgonyx model, and a triketos model. Oslan and Marmy as the Butlers / housekeepers (Marmy in a maid uniform? Hot dayam!). They'll be hosting tournaments through the day with little prizes such as trinkets and poe! sounds like fun!!! =( at having to miss most of it. baaaaaaaahaha at silver being mrs. claus, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease take a screenie of all of u in ur outfits and post so i can see you in case some of you have logged out by the time im on the pc. ohhh it sounds sooooooo cute!!!! ---------------------------------------- Darkabyss, Senior Officer of Scupper Me Booty As the sea is beautiful not only in calm but also in storm, so is happiness found not only in peace but also in strife. |
