(I tried to make him as friendly as I could.... I failed o.O):  Some pics before the last change (it's like.... "nude", but the pictures show some interesting things): Materials. The technique is known as Modular Origami. I did something similar in this ship. It's made with lots (LOST! In this gator, I used 3.500) "modules" or paper triangles. YES! Both are white with black details.... You can imagine that they're the same papers, but they're not. I used white papers because it's the cheapest. I mean, I used a lot of paper. And, well.... the black is, in my opinion, the best colour to combine with white. I give the ship as a present; I can't prove it... just believe me (I can't disarm such a ship) That's all. Pirate name: Lunadee Ocean: Hunter Order of Prize Preference: 300k, 50k and a hug from Melany, renamed sloop "Frankenpet" First i go the materials together. materials Next i made the piggys head out of clay :) making the piggys head Then i put the little head on the egg, made the legs, put them on and put on the wire tail :) Almost done :) Finnaly i finnished spraying the piggy and here is what it looks like when its done :)  Heres another picture of piggy done pic #2 of piggy done I got the idea cuz i always looked at the pigs and thought so cute on puzzle pirates and the tea cup pigs in real life so i thought i would make one thank u so much for making the event :) i had fun making my pig :) ---------------------------------------- :) ---------------------------------------- [Edit 2 times, last edit by Lunadee at Aug 12, 2011 12:32:05 PM] |

In game name: Iceyboy Ocean: Hunter ocean Prize preference - 300k, sloop renamed frankenpet, 50k and a hug :3 I decided to reconstruct the limited edition pink bunny. 1st image - materials. Recycled gift bag and card from mothers bin Materials 2nd image - progress. All materials crunched into balls of varying sizes, time to construct! Results To get an accurate determination of the winners, I used 10 judges. Each judge was tasked with picking their favorite three creations and placing them in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. When a judge selected an item as 1st, that item got 3 points. Second, that item got 2 points, and 3rd that item got 1 point. After totaling up all the scores we have the final results! First place: Pirate Name: Dumblondie Ocean: Hunter Creation: the Karkinos Prize awarded 300k. Here is a great comment one of our judges left for me about this item: ~That Karkinos makes me rethink my dislike of crustaceans as food ~ Second Place: Pirate Name: Swaan Ocean: Hunter Creation: Gator Prize awarded: 100k (this prize replaces the sloop, see below*) Here is another great comment about this creation: ~ Holy moly, that's insane and amazing! I've never tried anything more complex than a buckyball in modular origami. Really creative medium choice and excellent execution. ~ Third Place: Pirate Name: Thibaut Ocean: Sage Creation: Mala cat Prize awarded: 50k and a hug from Melany 4th - whatever place: Each of you did so well, and there really were some great creations that did not make the top 3, so we have decided to give each participant at least a little something. Melany is working on this so poke her for more information. As for the top 3, please find Rreeves or Yersunshine to claim your prizes. (Excluding the hug from melany, we will make her hunt you down to give you the soft core hump-hug) *As for the replacement of 100k for the sloop. The PM I intended to send to Apollo to see about the renamed sloop, I realized I put in the draft folder and forgot to send. That is why it was starred initially in waiting for the sloop name approval.
