Thought it was just me. I can log onto other oceans, but not Viridian.

Surely a petition to an OM would have your booty returned if it was because the server went down and you didn't intentionally abandon at sea.

Take this time to check that your Java is upgraded smile


When I first couldn't log on, it was the first place I went to. Even now, it says there are players online there (quickly decreasing, but server is still "OK"). Then I considered the Java thing, but when I could easily log on to every other ocean BUT Viridian, I knew it didn't have anything to do with my version of Java.

I didn't say that the outage has anything to do with Java, but just that it would be a good time to check on that, since it is possible to be hacked remotely if you're still running an old version of Java, which makes that a very undesirable state to be in, regardless of the status of individual YPP servers.

Java updated, can't log either, well, we can assume this is a server issue... since there are 2 (?) people logged in in the entire server (http://www.puzzlepirates.com/status.xhtml) ... I can log normally on other servers...

Server issue it is, people are able to log but not many, i think there is a problem with us connecting to the ocean as a whole apart from our connection. Cache? Who knows.

Yep, I either get, "Logging on..." forever or that "Cannot connect to server" crap.
