After nearly a year, Just Pillage has returned, with more ships to give out and plenty of poe to encourage the wonderful world of pillaging! The biggest concern regarding this event last time was that smaller crews didn't have a chance, so this time, I've introduced several bonuses that are winnable by smaller crews! The goal of this event is to get people out there pillaging, if even for just a week. Starting February 1, 2011 and extending until February 8, 2011; all entered pirates will try to get as many non-PVP pillaging wins as they can! The entered crews that do this best will be rewarded with prizes! How-to-win: -Entry deadline: January 31, 2011 -Be an officer or higher in a crew when you sign up. -Post in this thread with your pirate name and your crew's name. -If multiple pirates wish to enter from the same crew, any prizes won will be delivered to the captain of the crew. Leaderboard: (key: {placement}//{Crewname}//{wins total}//{+wins from previous day}) =========================== What do I win? All participating crews:  100 poe per non-pvp win. 1st place  Imperial Class Brig Cupid Class Brig Inferno Class Sloop Emerald Class Sloop Phantom Class Sloop 4 regular sloops 200,000 PoE 2nd place  Verdant Class Cutter Harvest Class Sloop Frost Class Sloop 3 regular sloops 150,000 PoE 3rd place Frost Class Sloop 2 Regular Sloops 110,000 PoE 4th place 2 regular sloops 80,000 poe 5th place 2 regular sloops 50,000 poe Bonuses! Small But Powerful: Awarded to the highest-placing crew of 25 or fewer members (must be below 25 for the duration of the event, not counting jobbers). 2 sloops 25,000 Big Mover: Awarded to any crew able to move up at least 2 positions in the final day of competition (crew must be in the 10 before the day of their move-up). 1 sloop 10,000 No crews met criteria for this bonus! Awarded to any crew able to move up at least 1 position every day of the competition (crew must be in top 10 by day 5). 1 sloop 10,000 No crews met criteria for this bonus! Awarded to any crew that has more wins each day than the previous day (crew must be in and stay in the top 10 by day 3) 20,000 Bubble Crew Push: Awarded to the crews finishing in 6th and 7th place. 1 sloop 25,000 Mystery Prize 1!: Awarded for a secret criteria.  Fortune Class JunkMystery Prize 2!: Awarded for a secret criteria different from Mystery Prize 1.  Gingerbread Class War BrigMore bonuses may be added later! Reserved for Questions and Answers. Question: How will you keep track of non-pvp battles? Answer: I will be checking the number of battles by looking at crew battle records on the crew page. If you click on the word that appears here on your crew page (the word itself may be different on your page, but the text will be located in the same place), it will give you a list of your battles won/lost etc. from the past few days.  Question: And any officer who takes out a pilly during that week will contribute to the crew's overall battle count? Answer: It doesn't matter which member of the crew is taking out a ship and winning the battles. I do encourage pirates to share the poe with the officers who are actually leading the pillages, but I cannot enforce it. Question: Is this only restricted to officers loading a ship to pillage? Answer: In order to be eligible for a prize in this event, you need to get non-PVP pillaging wins for your crew. It does not have to be your vessel or you leading the pillage, so long as it's a vessel in your crew that is winning the battles. Question: Or will it include anyone who joins a pillage as well? Answer: If you job onto someone else's pillage, it will not help you get anything in this event, but I do encourage crews to work together, perhaps jobbing for each other so everyone gets plenty of poe, prizes and fun! Question: Will there be any penalty for losses or is it just pure number of wins? Answer: Prizes will be awarded only for non-PVP wins. Losses and dis-engages do not have any impact on this event, though I'm sure it's more fun for everyone if you win ;D Question: It says the competition runs from the [1st]. So does that mean you will be taking the report for the [1st] which is published in game on the [2nd] as the first days scores - or will the [Jan 31st's] battles published on the [1st] be the start point.. Answer: I'm going to take the data in the crew battle records for each date from February 1st to February 8th. So the data published in-game on the 2nd that says "2-1" on it is what I'm using as the starting data. Question: If my crew wins 1st place, do we only win the 200,000 PoE, or do we also win 100 poe for each battle ontop of the 200K prize? Answer: All participating crews win 100 poe per battle.
