Erm... I intentionally did not look at the entries before making mine, but in retrospect perhaps I should have at least looked at titles of the original paintings... Oh well. Here's another Mona. The Mona Lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci: http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h7/sandysp/b7f0191a.jpg The Brig n' Lisa by Mollee (from Cobalt): http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h7/sandysp/466a5ced.jpg :D Edited once to take of silly [IMG] tags, twice to say that 100% of my work was done in Photoshop, and thrice to spell Da Vinci correctly. :P ----------------------------------------

I felt bad for Leonardo. So I decided to pick on a lesser known artist, although a very famous work nonetheless, as anyone who's taken an art appreciation class should know. The painting is "The Harvesters," by Pieter Bruegel. The original can be found here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/62734009@N00/152918366/ The altered version, "The Carambola Harvesters," can be found here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/62734009@N00/152918367/ Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of Photoshop, so I was stuck using PhotoDeluxe, which lacks many of Photoshop's features. So it probably took me 10x longer than it should have to get this done :-) Enjoy, mates Fritz on Hunter Ocean |

I'd originally meant to have this just as a manipulation of one painting, but I guess it's technically a combination of both. Pirate name: Madam Ocean: Midnight Original painting: The Giant Original artist: N.C. Wyeth Secondary source: The Buccaneer, by Howard Pyle Click here for a comparison of my painting and the original(s). The image contains both my version (the larger painting on the left) and the source paintings (the smaller ones on the right). Software: Photoshop CS2 ---------------------------------------- Madam, proud Looterata Why are old people playing on this game i dont know its probly something to do with control but its kind of werd.
