The artistry of all the entries is wonderful, but this one still cracks me up. Every now and then it pops into my head, and I start giggling, which has gotten me some very strange looks. Heh, I probably will. I'm still learning, I've barely used Adobe apart from graphics, and at school I don't do cartoony artwork.

I'm amazed that nobody yet has remarked Apollo's fantabulous swordfighting skills. Did you hear that, Apollo? Everyone but me thinks you're lame at swordfighting. If I were you, I wouldn't give any presents to any of these mean people, and I would save them all for, let's say, somebody who could be named, I don't know, Empanado, perhaps. Just a thought. Anyways, here's my second attempt, where we see Apollo leaping into certain death, with his notorious --and feathery-- side-kick, Crow.  ---------------------------------------- Empanado, at Midnight, makes avatars. |

can't see yours, squirel307! I like the round one of ye're entries best Starless! nice. Empanada, If I may...I like the sf'ing entry! but the black .lines are so 'black' if ye understand what I mean they stand out too much in comparison with the soft tone of the rest of your avatar. Ok I know you said you dont like animations for Ava's...But like you said...Simple...Figured I'd try m'hand at it...times 2... Don't be sarcastic, the poster likely didn't know they don't allow remote loading/viewing. Dear, angelfire has ads to provide you with service, when you use a picture someplace else without having a webpage, we don't see the ads. Thus, angelfire looses money, and thus, they prohibit it. You may see your picture clearly because it's your website, but nobody else can view the picture. You can create a webpage in angelfire and link folks to the web page, or try doing a search for other free hosts that allow viewing by remote access. I think alot of folks are using some photo bucket place. Very nice just a suggestion though. Most Ocean master's have fancy frames on their avatar's to let the posters know they are OM's. It looks great but maybe see if you can put some kind of fancy border on it. ----------------------------------------

...If you're using the BMP format. Using PNG, a blank 45x45 can be stored in just one allocation unit, or, stored raw, 221 bytes. Right now Windows is fighting with Paint over memory rights. Once that finishes up, I can post just how much 6k can store.
