oftentimes there is great debate and yelling and screaming when attempting to have everyone get on one attackee - namely when doing skellies. there usually seems to be one or two guys who take very long to get on them, though no one will confess that they be that guy. do there be a delay or lag sometimes in the dots moving over? ---------------------------------------- Not everything I think is something I should say... |

Hmmm, interesting. I've been wondering about those dots myself. During sea battles and fighting the skellies, I've noticed that I'll be takin' hits when I'm not targeted. That is to say, I don't have a little dot on me as I see sprinkles/swords flying into my puzzle. This theory of a delay might well explain what I've been seeing as well. ---------------------------------------- Tarrna: [Insignificant] Senior Officer - Sinking Feelings

Aye there is a delay from when you switch till it's shown for all players. As for getting hit when not targetted, I think it's because NPPs swords queue up. So even after they switch they might have something queued still coming your way. Players queues seem to follow over instantly when you switch opponent. Devs can correct me if Im wrong, just a speculation here. ---------------------------------------- -= SilverBeard of The Mad Mutineers =- --=== www.madmutineers.com ===-- |

It would be neat to see color-coded dots (you couldn't do this with the big dot of five, naturally) to see who is on what dudes. In a real swordfight, you'd certainly know this (I hope!) ---------------------------------------- Duncan [size=10]Reformed Player [size=8]Avatar by AaronZOOM |

Colored dots aye not a bad idea! should be easy enough to color the frame around the opponents mini in the respective colors. The big dot is probably still ok, if you have 4 (or is it 5?) opponents on you then you don't need to worry much about who they are. ---------------------------------------- -= SilverBeard of The Mad Mutineers =- --=== www.madmutineers.com ===-- |
