Spiral Knight seems to still have dev activity so I presume that's where all the effort is going into and GH just did a simple calculus and figured any detailed announcement about the state and future of the game will simply make everyone more disenchanted. ---------------------------------------- Thorkill on |

This kind of strategic silence has been operated on for a long time and you have to go way back to see devs talking about the state of the company, so none of this really strange. Though I guess that because Dark Seas looks like an experiment that didn't get finished and has slowly been fizzling out player wise, a lot of people ended up feeling like this was an abrupt development halt. ---------------------------------------- Thorkill on |

I can see this game as a mobile app would be doing pretty well, but cant happen with the current devs apparently! |

The game is too time consuming to be a phone app, unless you have a couple of portable battery chargers. Plus people will not be able to multi client on it as well. Every mobile game nowadays is time consuming. Puzzles are very similar with popular apps with millions downloads like candy crash so why would they suck? Plus there is no other pirate MMOG mobile game out there..I think it could have huge success! Ofc it's not easy and just three people cant do this. |

Mobile games generally take up 5 mins which is a total of 1 puzzle session, nothing else other than a conversation. How the iPad was unsuccessful I see this game as a phone app as a failure as well, there are more things to address than making it an app. ---------------------------------------- Trophy Hunter - Scottys on Meridian. |
