Hello Obsidian, We owe it to the ocean to share our island plans for Magpie. We completed the building of two shipyard shoppes. The first will be used for flag purposes. The second will be to supply War Frigates to the ocean. Each flag will be able to buy 1 War Frigate from us at cost. You will need to sail the supplies to Magpie, pay the dub fee and labour costs. The priority of who gets the first war frigates will go (1) flags who supported Blame Brenda these past few weekends, (2) flags who did not support Blame Brenda. Alt flags and flags who already can access a shipyard (either own or are allied with a flag who owns) will not be able to purchase a war frigate. We hope this gets all flags at least 1 War Frigate to pillage, SMH or flotilla hunt. To request your War Frigate, a royal from your flag must contact a royal of our flag. We built and will maintain an explorer's hall. We plan to build a cottage and all other infrastructure. Taxes will stay at 0% Finally, as promised, a new naming theme has been set to the island. We asked Budclare the island designer what she imagined the island theme being. The theme follows this pattern "A (collective noun for particular bird) of (something to do with the stall). We are trying to make them sort of a play on words if possible or something that has a nice ring. For example: A Gaggle of Gold for a bank. They could have done this from the start. The plans are actually posted in the SY itself. "Once the orders have slowed down we will more than likely open it up for flags wanting to build GFs and MGs and continue to offer the cost price frigs. If a large Island opens and there are more SYs for people to access and the OM shoppes don't have a 3 month waiting list we will look at dusting the 2nd SY on Magpie and replacing it with a bazaar (most likely a weavery)." ---------------------------------------- Betty - Obsidian Crip tells ye, "bout to turn on my balls warmer.." |
