for one the bounty hunter board needs a back button so you don't need to close the notice board then re-open to see the war tab after selecting one of the ships on the bounty list. this is of course you can't already do that and I'm just not seeing it, which might very well be the case.

was wondering if in cades the ships in the same faction but not an ally might be shown in a green outline. will make it a little easier to know who to shoot or not shoot if you don't want to. having everyone but you be red doesn't help if the faction as a whole is going for the win.

I would like a few more card games, not that there is an issue with the ones we have they've just gotten repetitive and boring. might even consider checkers or something like that instead of a "card" game.

Yes, that'd be helpful

Non-allied flags cannot be in the same faction. They can be in separate contending factions or separate non-defending, non-contending factions.

Shoot the defending faction (green ships) and the non-contending, non-defending factions (grey ships). Don't shoot one's own side (blue ships) nor the other contending factions (red ships).

that last event cade on obsidian is what I was referring to. in that cade regardless of faction any one not in your flag was deemed red (not sure if that applied to direct allies in that cade, usually showing up as a blue color). my suggestion was for flags of the same faction that might not be allies with one another to have a different color then red to indicated that they are in the same faction even if they are not your direct allies.

Yes, an event blockade has an option to ignore alliances. That wrinkle applies to Dark Seas oceans as well as the classic pre-Dark Seas oceans. If alliances were ignored in that last event blockade on the Obsidian Ocean, all flags would be on different teams.

On the Obsidian Ocean, the factions outside of a blockade are a separate concept. Unfortunately for now the same word "faction" is used for the Obsidian Ocean factions and blockade factions (perhaps the latter should instead be called blockade teams?). Within each of the two Obsidian Ocean factions, flags can declare war which (in the absence of other restricting features or changes) should mean that islands can change hands between flags via blockades. Thus it might be possible for Obsidian Ocean factions ships to be on the defending and contesting blockade teams.

Color currently distinguishes blockade team. I would prefer that color not to be used to identify the Obsidian Ocean faction each ship belongs to, since that could be an unnecessary difference from classic oceans.
