Disclaimer notes: These are personal pics, that the bride has allowed me to share here in PP, please respect the couples wishes and dont copy these to any social media site. Also See: Nuptials Thread , http://forums.puzzlepirates.com/community/mvnforum/viewthread?thread=204741 OK Here goes.... Friday night here in Oregon, it is raining cats and dogs. Some parts of Portland got flooded. My worst fears, the bride selected a date out of the blue and took her chances. Shes going to get rained on and spoil the entire day. Shes a tough cow girl with pride, rain or shine by god she was going to marry that man. NOPE! God spread the heavens and earth, parted the seas and well here is the wedding site: (Size comparison, 1 foot ball field will fit) We stood in the tiny curve of sand on the left picture.   Tosse and BadSanta Arrived first and played unofficial Ushers. We Greeted the Grooms family as they arrived. A very nice group of people. The stroll down to the beach was 159 very uneven hand built steps through a heavily wooded steep path. The Groom stayed up top to escort his new bride down the staircase, Trusting no one else to safely do the task. What a Man! Escorted by 4 trusted ladies, toting over hair, flowers and every safety pin, The bride has arrived. At the bottom the maids removed her sneekers and straped up the wedding boots. This girl is a Texan, and these boots were ordered just for the wedding. The walk over those big rocks were slow, the bride smiling and blushing as she greeted everyone personally. (Editors note: Dam she looks good!!)  So we all group with the Official, the Pro Photo guy redirects us for the light, we all draw in tight. The roar of the ocean almost killed all vocals you could hear. Very short wedding. "Gathered here" "Take Her" "Take Him" and now the rings.... The Groom, (in his specially ordered suit, embroidered name and all) (Editors note: Dam he looks good!) starts looking for the rings. He lost them!! (oww no the first bad omen) He looks to Badsanta and says "I gave them to you". Santa does a pat down, "No you gave them to Tosse" Tosse looks confused and pats his pockets. "No you gave them to your dad" "DAD!" Poor dad he is at a loss. By this time the bride has assumed the "relly you lost the rings face"  Remember I said specially made suit, this included a inner pocket just for the rings. The Groom has jokes. A sigh of relief, now the bride starts to cry. You horrible man. Tons of laughter. Santa was prepared with napkins, shame on the ladies for no hankie. Only one thing left and that's the kiss. Embracing his new bride, he dips her almost to the ground, she squeals in delight and surprise.. (I cant describe what this picture shows)  Wenches and Scurvy Mates I am proud to announce Mrs. and Mr Pirate lol, long tread be patient im not done with this perfect love story. A few group photos and some selected personal ones with friends and family members. The party climbs back to the top leaving the happy couple alone with the photographer. We start decorating the car ...giggle always fun stuff. most have already headed out to the reception site. 30 minits later ..where are they? The bride refused to take off her boots and the dress was well formed, so the climb was slow going. Along with every photo chance to stop. lots of little sun nooks on the path. TADA the top, OK lets get this party started!!! The party is in a golf club house, the entire place is ours with the staff begging to make everything perfect. Drinks are flowing people are laughing and we are treated to a very good dinner. THANK YOU!! Arugula salad, saffron rice, garlic finger potatoes, steamed succotash, herb baked chicken and medium rare roast. Very nice. Mind you at this time is when the one and only thing went wrong. The cake was individual servings of cupcakes and strawberry sundaes. Oww no some slided off the curved cake display down the wall and to the floor. LOL pfft not our house , Shh let em find it later. It was a perfect evening, the presents were the final cap of the day. All wonderful gifts. Including a coffee book of illustrations of super awesome boots. Here is Tosse Badsanta Lumen and Kimberly (unfortunately the 5th pirate had to work.  So you think this story is over? Oww no! Surprise! The Bride spoiled Tosse and Santa to a night of luxury on 2 super soft Queens beds. When we arrived in the Hotel room there on the nightstand were 2 beers for us.. "BADSANTA" Beer ( yes omg lol frackin awesome) I tell ya this was to be her day and all the time she was thinking of everyone else THE END To the Bride and Groom, Thank you for allowing me to partake in such a wonderful event in your lives. I again pray that your future continues to bear many happy memories. You both are truly wonderful souls. This is rare in today's world. With lifetime memories, BadSanta... Final note personal pictures of family members were not allowed to be posted here, so a lot of descriptive pictures were omitted from this story. Sorry. I Have no idea if The bride wish to post any of the professional pictues online in social media. Im sure this will be to close friends only if she does. So this paticuler group of pirates have met and made RL friends last January. I will make a post of that event. and we plan to meet in seattle again this coming year.. many have been invited who live in the area.... Kazz, Tosse, Kim, Lumen, Goodeye, Dirtydan, Skultis, Xstiy Suzzana, Loons Major MzBhaven and many more... There will be a separate thread for this event so keep an eye out Plans for the event will include 1 full day of meet and greet, food drinks and local sight seeing. Some Pirates live in the immediate area so events could last upto 3 days with the locals. With the new ownership of PP we are going to file a petition with them to see if we can get a "get together" trophie ( which have been discontinued years ago) Rough Dates will be around the 18th of January....Hope to see you all there so you too can enjoy such wonderful events in RL as I have thanks to PP BADSANTA ---------------------------------------- "Yo, Ho! Congrats you to I am so very happy for you both...the only thing that upsets me is that I couldn't fly out and celebrate with you.
