Dear Anchovia, Please play FFX through and through with me, as we max out and beat the Dark Aeons. It's ok if we don't do Penance, because he's very big and overall chubby. Dear poebuyer, You mispelled Meridian on your signature. Dear Motouman, Congratulations on your impressive feat! ---------------------------------------- And, scene. *lights out* |

Uncreative youtube account ++! Regarding Penance, why would you bother? It takes no skill it's just a loop that you can't really deter out of for the most part. I'd feel more of an accomplishment from beating the Dark Aeons that can be killed in numerous ways than running through the same move cycle for 40 minutes to kill Penance when in reality, the game was coded to allow you to beat him. ---------------------------------------- Cremate on Emerald. Beating Dark Yojimbo (All six times) is more of a feat than beating up Penance. Bonus points if you do it without running to the save sphere to heal after every fight. EDIT: Using your Yojimbo to Zanmato him doesn't count as a win. ---------------------------------------- Greatness. Why run to a save sphere when you can easily have X potions :/ ---------------------------------------- Cremate on Emerald. Motou on Meridian. Avatar by Elfeesh. |

Dear Hurtboss, Thank you for your lovely letter, I like reading letters that aren't from my bank telling me how much of my student loan I have spent. In reply to your letter, I happily accept your invitation but you must wear a Tonberry costume whilst we play. ---------------------------------------- Anchovia |

Dear Anchovia, I'm afraid I'd have to resort to a Mega Tonberry costume, if that was to be possible. I'm simply not 1ft5. It is, however, possible. Dear Motou and Greatness, Using / Touching the Save sphere during the D Yojimbo fights makes him reset back to form #1. Dear Motou, I agree, Penance is a loop. It is, however, a cute loop to do once. I once farmed the arms for Dark Matters. It was very boring. But then it was fun. ---------------------------------------- And, scene. *lights out* |

Yeah I knew if you saved he reset, couldn't remember if it was just touching. But, I refer to my previous statement about X-potions. As I don't have PAL, when you are in CotSF to fight Dark Yojimbo, are random encounters off? If not, couldn't you just encounter one of the fights there and use Curaga / what have you? (Either way you could use Curaga out of battle...POINT IS, at that point in the game the no save sphere healing restriction is so stupidly pointless with how much item farming the player has already done. ---------------------------------------- Cremate on Emerald. I think random encounters are off. Regardless I'm pretty sure you need quite a few of your summons to still be alive when you fight him (So the save sphere prevents aeons from healing and you cant use potions on them). Also, its only when you save and exit that you reset the count, not when you touch the sphere. ---------------------------------------- Greatness. Better than you. |

See, HB was getting us confused. I thought it was ^, but like I said, no PAL :/ Nonetheless, it saddens me that Aeons which are SO FREAKING BAD@$$ during the plot are entirely useless beyond sacrifices in the end game. Why can't Bahamut get an OD that does 2 mill like a boss :( I unno about you but my first reaction when I first used Megaflare was O SHIIIIIII. ---------------------------------------- Cremate on Emerald. I may be wrong, but I was almost sure it was touching. Hm. Been a few years since I last did a Dark Aeon gauntlet, though. And yeah, randoms are off, as far as my bad memory serves me too. And wait Wait Bahamut Badass LOLOLOLOL L2anima, srs. Magus sissyters are more badass than Bahamut. The mere symbolism behind him, the temple he's obtained at, and the way he is summoned (Hurting Yuna, only aeon that does so) just puts me off him like woodchuck on a stick. And when you go against him, what's the deal with the 100% charging like a failboss. ---------------------------------------- And, scene. *lights out* |

I prefer Bahamut cause of his design / he's part o the main story. Despite the fact his entrance seems to slightly hurt Yuna, I think it's pretty cool. That said, Anima is pretty epic, especially with it's overdrive being more powerful in PAL than it is in the NA version. Not a huge fan of the Magus Sisters. Their animations are stupidly long (yes I know you can turn them off) and there is a measure of unpredictability. That said, Passado makes me laugh everytime. @Feesh: I'm not giving you anymore of my videos for free. ---------------------------------------- Cremate on Emerald. Motou on Meridian.
