Missielanous' final entries...   and here's one i did since i had my pirates head already cut out for the wedding photo:  Finally, it's rough, but i made a video of my prior entries. Results! Results! Well, I promised Tuesday night, and it's Tuesday night! I got my crew to help me out with the judging - we enjoyed everything, but only 5 could win...or so we thought... I'd first like to say thank you to everyone for entering this contest! I thought it was a good idea, but you never know if others will think the same until they actually enter! Now, finally...THE RESULTS! Fifth Place We had a TIE for 5th place!! Just couldn't decide!! Therefore, the TWO winners of a portrait easel and a painting of a monarch are: Missielanous's rendition of David Judge's Comments - David was just inspired - a classic statue, redone YPP style! The clever use of the sash was also very appropriate. AND Tlzallen's rendition of the Pirates of Oz! Judge's Comments - It's well done again, and the fact the Pardner has no brain makes me laugh my arse off! Fourth Place The winner of a small chest with 5000 PoE and a painting of Captain is... Fizz for the Real Ghostbusters! Judge's Comments - I really felt that Fizz matched up the right heads with the right Ghostbusters. It was hilarious, but also looked very natural. Third Place The winner of a mystery gift wrapped prize and painting of Admiral is... Gypsyginger for Mount Yarr!more! Judge's Comments - Yarrmore was very well-done, and I liked how the features were blended to make it look more realistic. Second Place The winner of a sanddollar trinket and a painting of an ship PLUS an additional 4K (b/c sand dollar's have gone down in value recently and I wanted to even out the prizes) is... Ardea with her "Pub and Brothel" picture!! Judge's Comments - This picture is just downright hilarious! And unless you really paid attention to the fact that those are cartoon characters, you wouldn't really realize that they weren't meant to be in the picture, the photoshopping is that well done. First Place And finally, the overall winner and winner of the Lonely Trout (stocked sloop) and a painting of Palace is... Dexla for her Teletubbies picture!!! Judge's Comments - This picture was just genius. It made me laugh out loud the second I saw it! And I just couldn't forget it. The photoshopping is so well done that you would think that's what the teletubbies actually look like! This picture is too brilliant and too well done NOT to win. Conclusion That's all folks! Congratulations to the winners! I will be tracking you down in game, but don't be afraid to /who me occasionally or PM me on the forums if there's a specific time when you tend to be on. Once again, thank you for entering. If I can raise the poe on the other oceans, I'm thinking about potentially running this event again, but oceanwide. I had forbid Teletubbies in my house - just because I thought they were creepy, yet somehow, by the time my child was two, he could identify them and I knew...
