We can rebuild it, we have the technology. Rather than lamenting our loss, I thought we might take this opportunity to reorganize the ol' TTQA. Things had gotten a little top-heavy last time, so I'd like to hear your input on what you think would be useful or most beneficial to those coming here for answers. Hopefully we'll put together a helpful set of stickies while still keeping things concise. Feel free to post if you've managed to dig up something that needs a new sticky or you have suggestions for making navigation here easier. ---------------------------------------- Dionysus is bad at this game. |

I dont know if those links have been lost. They can be placed where ever. I thought having some referenceablity just using the TaTs forum would be a good idea. Wiki is all very well and good. But people will visit the forums first often too. ---------------------------------------- Hypnos Score: 4. |

Actually, I'm genuinely looking for the best content, no matter who the author. If it can help someone who has come here looking for answers, then I'd like it to be catalogued. ---------------------------------------- Dionysus is bad at this game. |

Those links I posted are just about the best of their suject matter. They are fairly old some and newer posts have not been added, but those posts mostly contain all the info unless a puzzle has changed, which many have not. ---------------------------------------- Hypnos Score: 4. |

Since you are reorganising all of this.... I noticed that some people have gotten rid of images and .avi files and such. If a particular post is exceptional, could it not be republished within the YPPedia with images or content intact? A forum is fine for discussion, but one needs to maintain their post if they have images etc... in them via photobucket or hosting movie files and it seems that if one has left the game or one has stopped caring, that they might delete these files... This way, forums can remain more dynamic, as they should be and not static. Just an idea... |

Neither of these links are valid for me. I was wondering if someone has made a tool that we can practice battle nav on without screwing over a crew if I do poorly. edit: realized the first one should be http://forums.puzzlepirates.com/community/mvnforum/viewthread?p=101137 I have done the navy mission, but the navy workers tend to be a poor example of how a real crew would perform. After 10 turns I'm out of tokens even if I hadn't taken any damage. ---------------------------------------- [Edit 2 times, last edit by PhoenixSerap at Jun 27, 2006 12:21:19 PM] |
