I used 2 clean alts, 1 for each test, not at the same time.

Test 1
B1: SF, 2 greedies, 1 treasure stolen, fight won.
B2: SF, 16 greedies, 9 treasures stolen, fight won.
B3: SF, 17 greedies, 7 treasures stolen, fight won.
B4: R, 12 greedies, 9 treasures stolen, fight won.
B5: SF, 16 greedies, 7 treasures stolen, fight won.

-Gold Cloth Scrap came during B2, was after 2 treasure-less greedy kills, and 5 total greedy kills.
-Gold Tooth came during B5, was after 27 treasure-less greedy kills, and 50 total greedy kills.

Test 2
B1: R, 27 greedies, 23 treasures stolen, fight won.
B2: SF, 5 greedies, 4 treasures stolen, fight won.
B3: R, 4 greedies, 4 treasures stolen, fight won.
B4: R, 6 greedies, 5 treasures stolen, fight won.
B5: R, 4 greedies, 4 treasures stolen, fight won.
B6: R, 4 greedies, 4 treasures stolen, fight won.

-Gold Cloth Scrap came during B1, was after 1 treasure-less greedy kills, and 5/6 total greedy kills. (the 5th and 6th kills had the same time code as the trophy awarded)
[06:06:23] Rash Mort is eliminated! (greedy w/o treasure)
[06:06:30] Snotty Brandy is eliminated! (greedy w/ treasure)
[06:06:37] Demented Mindy is eliminated! (greedy w/ treasure)
[06:06:40] Low Jones is eliminated! (greedy w/ treasure)
[06:06:47] Sneaky Barbara is eliminated! (greedy w/ treasure)
[06:06:47] Fiendish Dane is eliminated! (greedy w/ treasure)
[06:06:47] Ye have been awarded the Gold Cloth Scrap!
-Gold Tooth came during B6, was after 44 treasure-less greedy kills, and 50 total greedy kills.

The theory is that this progression of trophies is triggered by the amount of ship-wide greedy kills (regardless if they still have treasure). I believe there was some testing done on this theory by other pirates back on page 89. I'm not sure what happened there but I believe that I've just confirmed it. I have screenies and chat logs if anyone wants to take a look.

Cithara - your testing is amazing. Are we all good with listing this as the criteria?

And a question: Greedy mechanics have been changed so that if you lose the fray, any won Lavish Lockers are returned. Do these returned Lavish Lockers still count towards trophies?
Edit: Because if returned trophies don't count, chatlogs no longer are a reliable source of information for counts.
Edit2: Well, chat counts can still be used, didn't realize that. But the question still stands.

Do these returned Lavish Lockers still count towards trophies?
to help testing, i'll rephrase that to, "are locker trophies still awarded when they're knocked off, or is the trophy postponed till after the fray?".

I did my tests post-update in which the lockers could've been reclaimed had we lost any battles.

I just checked my logs and I was awarded both the Greedy Handful and the Gold Cloth Trophies immediately after 5 lockers + 5 greedy bot knock outs.

Since the trophies were given immediately after the conditions were met, I doubt having lost the battle afterwards and therefore losing the lockers that counted towards the trophy, would result in having the trophy rescinded.

I just did a few more tests, and can confirm seem 5 greedies killed, regardless of whether they still have treasure, seems to be the trigger.

I'm not sure what happened in my first test when i swear i got the trophy after i had killed a non-greedy bot.

I just did a test where we had treasure that was reclaimed, and still got the trophy after the 5th treasure was knocked loose, so it doesn't matter if it was reclaimed or not (and it wouldn't make sense like you said)

Also, is anyone else counting strike trophies? I'm working on it slowly and got 50 as the 2nd trigger for rumble. If no one else is counting and i get the same one for sf, i'll probably just go ahead and update since it's more than reasonable and no point in waiting if no one is going to count in the near future.

Has anyone gotten the Daffodil trophy after getting a competition portrait painted recently? I think they might have changed the criteria to exclude portaits that are free.

Has anyone gotten the Daffodil trophy after getting a competition portrait painted recently? I think they might have changed the criteria to exclude portaits that are free.

To make things even more complicated, Crimsonator got his pretty recently. Unless I miscounted, he had six paid portraits, the mission portrait, and the rest (including the last) were from comps. Maybe the mission portrait doesn't count, and there's a minimum number of paid trophies required? But that's getting kind of convoluted... :(

It was on there at some point... that's how we got diamond numbers well before people actually got the trophies. I guess they removed them for some reason.

That's different because it's harder to count because of the classifications of portraits and there's always been some confusion about what exactly counts and doesn't.

Random guess, but is it possible that only 1 portrait per competition counts? I noticed on Mackmaine that he received multiple free portraits from the same competition. Or it may be more simple as limit of 1 "earned" per day. From that criteria, he's at 8. I guess we'll know when he wins more comps.

But I'm 100% positive it's 50 for the silver tier for pillies. They don't change triggers.

Yes, 13th Jolly Roger has been released. On Cerulean Ocean it's been seen on Millie's Pirate Page .... and Storm's Pirate Page..
