The Charting Triangle

I just charted from Gaea to Guava via Wrasse and this popped up:



update: Aye, ye be right, atteSmythe. Actually, as soon as I pulled the chart up a second time all was as right as rain. (What made rain so moral, anyway, I wonder?) I was kinda hoping that I could sail straight across the middle... but alas.

Isn't it odd for the blue line to show while you're charting, too? Usually it's just white dots...

I believe this happens when you chart a long course, sail most of it, then rechart before you're done.

who's never seen the blue line actually make a loop before.

I guess this was a super odd case, then--I had been sitting at Gaea for at least a few minutes, buying hemp. Went to chart from scratch and... ta-da.

/me has given up trying to figure it out
