That's all the buyable egg portraits. Will do the others if and when I get my mitts (um... well, mitt, really...) on them. :)

Now I'm going to triple post to switch to the subject of Eggy Badness...which is alphabetization.

The old eggs weren't alphabetized on the wiki as such, just put in numeric order. Prize-winning, second prize-winning, third prize-winning, etc. It worked well, until they switched over to descriptive names for the eggs.

So then for a while, I think I was trying to alphabetize "prize-winning" and the new eggs, and just tuck the other "prize-winning" eggs discreetly in after the first egg. I don't know. I guess it made sense at the time? (See Dexla's eggs.)

Then I was thinking I should treat all the old ones as if they had a number, i.e. 1 for "prize-winning", 2 for "second prize-winning", etc. That would put all the old eggs in order, then follow them with the newer eggs, alphabetized.

This solution looks fine...with some people's eggs. For people with many old eggs, it's clear when you look at the list why it's ordered the way it is.

But for Rechiva, who has one old egg and one new, it would look like I just can't alphabetize. ("china" and "prize-winning". Bleh.)

I can't seem to find any solution that works well for everyone.

Here's the list of people who have both old naming-scheme and new naming-scheme eggs:
-Dex
-Faeree
-Greylady
-Hero
-Rechiva
-And now Sapphic, though I haven't added the piggy egg yet (for exactly this reason)

And here's the egg list when the old eggs are treated as numbers, i.e. always put first: Eggys!

Any thoughts? The best I've come up with so far is to treat Rechiva and Sapphic differently, i.e. to alphabetize their "prize-winning" eggs under "P", while treating "prize-winning" as the number 1 for everyone else. But that's a crappy solution, too.

...then again, since rechiva and sapphic only have two eggs each, maybe most people wouldn't even notice which order they're in. So I could sort them the same as the others and just pretend it's not weird. ;)

Grr. Argh.

(Sorry if things weren't clear. I always seem to end up writing up posts like this when I'm really groggy.)

Edit: Or 3...

There are a few from the complete list I do not own, and a few that are placed and therefore not in my inventory, but I guess that is most of the non-Ringer-non-BK eggs. >.< (And apologies for duplicates, heheh.)

I have all of the Easter eggs (okay, missing the non-purchaseable ones from this year but I'm working towards that...) - as well all the BK eggs and few Ringer ones. They're all in my inventory. I can provide screenshots if needed.

Yes, the sorting order is...unique. That's only when talking about the Easter ones - adding BK and Ringer eggs makes it even more...interesting. To keep things special, Thalia's egg sorts after a snow globe furni item.

Furniture is sorted alphabetically based on the tile's file name (as opposed to display name).
