Oh and shoppes range from 250k-800k in my experience (the higher end being for shipyards on wood spawning islands). Personally, my crew has bought two shoppes on a large for about 350k each (an apoth and an IM) with no stock or employees. What crew/flag depends on your preferred style of play, but there are a lot of good options.
