It looks like it does indeed say "Meta Soy". The domain www.metasoy.com, metasoy.net, and metasoy.org have all been registered by Three Rings. ---------------------------------------- WhoIsYou - Scurviest dog in the sea (Could ye spare an orange?) |

Hmmm....that is curious. I am intrigued but it's an odd name. I wonder what type of game it is. All my searches didn't produce anything related to a possible game. ---------------------------------------- Josephdaniel on Midnight. |

https://www.cmpevents.com/GD07/a.asp?option=C&V=11&SessID=3717 mentions ninjas and also seems to make a point of capitalizing SOY, if anyone can pull anything from that. Not sure if Three Rings even came up with that blurb in the first place. |

From the name, that web article, Id say it sounds like maybe a sandbox type thing. So, what? We'll be serving meat to unworthy cowboys and pirates with no noses? And there will be breakdanceing? In ninja costumes? Yes, I don't think so. Can we get the capn' to stop laughing and come tell us what's going on? ---------------------------------------- Cheers, Inga of Cobalt |

Heading into the beer market is a willd move on the part of our game designers, but could be a lucrative one. I, for one, am willing to try anything twice. |

You don't really think that, do you? Their banner isn't their logo. Now I'm wondering which logo Soyabean designed. On topic?

A large-scale Ninja MMORPG with a great deal of player-interference. Not only can people make their own Jutsu, they can also help the Devs build up the land! Just like their success-game Puzzle pirates, MetaSOY focuses on skill instead of time. Thanks to their extremely original way of fighting, you no longer have to grind to be one of the elite- all it needs is skill! It also borrows more useful things from Puzzle pirates. As you'll almost always have to travel in groups, there is a noticeboard on which you can apply on other jobs, making the joy of partyfinding much easier. Also, the economy is player-run, and groups of ninjas can form unions to take over cities. Yeah. I'd like that. ---------------------------------------- Tibiaking. Member of TTB, SN.
