This be the place to display yer handiwork, ask fer technical advice, get comments and criticisms, and just act as a gallery for old and new alike.

Posted below is a gallery of all the original portrait avatars that I be aware of. If ye don't see yer work here, let me know by PM, and I'll put it up. To keep it reasonable, I'd like the gallery to be limited t' Puzzle Pirate related avatar art only.

Go Risky!! Good update.

Although I still feel that the fine stuff here should be added to the Fan Arrt section as well! A sub-section at least! Just for the avatars. I certainly think that they deserve it!

At some point I may label each avatar...but that's a lot of work.
In the meantime, consider it like a game...you can find out on your own. Fun!

I think I'll just get a grab of the whole swathe and post to the fan arrrt section... if nobody minds the avatars being unattributed to their characters? Could I even name the whole bunch? Tricky!

Gave this a sticky, too.

Risky, could you put the Hom and Thus family portrait up there too? I don't know how to give it a URL, but it deserves to be seen on more than just two desktops.

I've taken to making mine directly in 80x80, so I don't supply the master print like risky does... that'll have to wait until later.

I just put the finishing touches on devonin's avatar, which should be up shortly. Let me know if anyone else wants one, I'm open fer commisions.

Wow!! Those large shots are awesome! Hmm....... this has inspired me to attempt an avatar a different way. I think I'll keep my current one around because I find it funny, but I am going to take a second stab at it in the style that seems most popular amongst people here, and START it larger than 80x80 this time.

Would it be possible for all avatar artists who are selling their work or even donating it (though I doubt few fools would just give such fantastic art away) to please list your name, so that more customers can um find you. Maybe even create a stickey in the Bazaar for Avatar Artists.

I can cut and paste with the best of them but I am really considering some of these beautiful masterworks.

I do most of me shading with the dodge and burn tools in Photoshop.

And an announcement:

I am not currently taking new orders fer avatars. Me list is long enough fer the time being, so I'd like t' clear off a sizable chunk at least afore takin' on any more clients.

If ye are already on The Official Riskyboots Waiting List(TM)*, then I thank ye fer waitin' patiently, and I'll contact ye when I gets to yer name.

Thanks to everyone who has contacted me about an avatar, I do appreciate your interest.

[size=9]* Please note that the waiting list is simply a name place-holder only, and does not equate a formal contract for my services. Legal disclaimer! ;)
