Map of the Sage Ocean Reply to this Post

I don't know if Diamondblade is around to do a map or not, but we can compile route info in this thread.

Here's a list of islands, sorted by arch: http://www.puzzlepirates.com/wiki/Sage_Ocean

Arch charts with links and difficulty:
Dodo, Gull, Ibis, Osprey, Pelican, Puffin, Stork, Tern.

Note: Some of the maps don't render well in IE. Get Firefox . They should also render properly with Safari, Konqueror, or Opera.

A full ocean chart: http://yppedia.puzzlepirates.com/Image:Sage_ocean_map.pdf

Here's more to look at:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v488/dklayn/sage.jpg

Appears that the two populated archs. (Gull and Pelican) are connected via the small Tern arch, with Lincoln connecting to Morannon (shown in previous posts) and Descartes connecting to Kashgar (as seen in my map). Bet there's a Kashgar/Ashkelon route missing from my map that fully links the two.

Here's a compilation of all the information thus far, certainly not in its final format. It's mostly a cut and paste job.

Thanks Belgarion! :D

Tawnee, in order to get the globe in yer portrait you have to mem 99% of the league points in the ocean. As I have memmed 350 league points, the 1% that could be as yet undiscovered would consist of a 3 or 4 point route. Both of the routes that you believe exist would be more than 4 points.

That map is almost correct but it is missing the route from Cromwell to Isle of Kent.

That would be because nobody mentioned to me that it was missing yet. It's updated now. Thanks!

Again, please let me know if anything's missing on the three pdf maps.

Yarrr, another chart! Chart pillaged by Shodan and spotted by Scarymuffin :)

This is the chart that I said couldn't exist because one cannot get a globe unless 99% of the ocean is memmed. Lies, all lies! This is a 7 point route, which means that without this route only 98% of the ocean is memmed. It's Scurvey - Bowditch. Yay fer Shodan and Scarymuffin!

Without sounding like a conspiracy theorist, I can't help but wonder if the duplicated points on the Kashgar interarches affect your memming totals oddly, which might explain the extra points that could push a person to 99%.
