2013 monster dolls need transparency Reply to this Post

Since I do not yet have proficiency with GIMP (and therefore am stuck using MS Paint), I was not able to implement transparent backgrounds for these new monster dolls. So I'm asking for someone else to please fix the background property for three image files:

http://yppedia.puzzlepirates.com/image:Trinket-Goblin_doll.png
http://yppedia.puzzlepirates.com/image:Trinket-Vampire_doll.png

Thanks! ;-)

For what it's worth, your links are broken (again, probably because they contain "File" in them. They just redirect to this same thread. Probably the exact same problem Belthazar was having earlier.

And on a side note: Gimp isn't that hard to learn.. just learn one tool at a time. (I usually do this by googling "GIMP" + <insert tool description here>, e.g. "gimp transparent background". (For that particular case, it's simply highlighting an area by color, deleting the color, and setting the background to transparent. I'd do it, but I don't have access to gimp on these computers (nor do I have install permissions)).

Yeah, that's actually an issue with the forum's software. It's a known bug (what Microsoft Customer DisService and/or the ObamaCare website would try to label as a "feature" -- oops, did I go there?). ;-D

I've edited my original post, changing "file:" to "image:" and they seem to work now, FWIW... ;-)
