![]() St. Patrick's Day Event Blockade Date: March 24, 2013 Time: 4:00pm game time Where: Hephaestus? Forge Ships: Sloops Prize: Stocked War Brig Midnight Yacht Club in conjunction with Midnight Serenade will be holding a non-sinking event blockade for officers that don?t usually have a chance to navigate in blockades, but experienced blockade navers are also welcome (ye don?t scare us). Preregistration isn?t necessary and late entries are acceptable. The blockade will last for 2 rounds and the flag that scores the most accumulated points will win the war brig. The winning criterion is the total points scored in both rounds and not rounds won. If Midnight Yacht Club scores the most points the war brig will remain in their possession. The prize will be presented to the monarch or a royal from the winning flag. Midnight Yacht Club will be posting a blockade job on the notice board paying 200 or 300 per segment. Other flags are encouraged to do the same. Sloops and stock are available at Hephaestus? forge at reasonable prices. Alliances will be ignored and crews not affiliated with any flag are invited to participate, but scoring points won?t be possible. Any contested blockade that conflicts with this event will cause the event to be postponed. Questions may be directed to Garibaldi. Edited for a new date. ---------------------------------------- The original Garibaldi on the Midnight Ocean, now on Cerulean. Non-sinking If it was at a time, non-Americans could participate, I'd be happy to come, but even the Irish have it starting at midnight. Good Luck with the event. ---------------------------------------- Locu on Cerulean and Opal (and some other Oceans) Check the Rack at Phakey's Tailor Stall on Tinga for nice clothes! Due to my misunderstanding of the scheduling of event blockades, the blockade will take place one week later on March 24th. The change has been made in my original post. I hope this didn't cause undue scheduling problems for anyone. ---------------------------------------- The original Garibaldi on the Midnight Ocean, now on Cerulean.
