Ooh, can we call the area of ocean surrounded by the new Sage-Hunter routes and the furthest-East islands of Sage/furthest-West islands of Hunter "The Rung Sea" (it's an anagram of Sage and Hunter)?

Well, I will. Then when I say I'm off to circumnavigate The Rung Sea, you'll know what I mean.

Out of interest, were portraits and skulls renamed to xxx-east/west?
No.

Ooo, nice. Viridian and Malachite get... Thin Civil Maid Area. Um... is it too late to reconsider this whole merger thing? =P

Hmmm, yes, a bit tricky. The problem is there are just too many letters in Malachite and Viridian combined to make anything catchy. With a bit of poetic license (i.e. not perfect anagrams), you could work with:

The Malady Variance
Malverian Ditch
Valerian Ditch
Evermain Ditch (in preference to the closer matched "Evilmain Ditch"

or the even less matching but much more poetic "Verdant Main"

Or alternatively, given that Viridian+Malachite=Meridian quite nicely (whereas Sage+Hunter!=Emerald), you could work on some other figurative combination of the two oceans, whether a colour combination (my local paint supplier names the colour between Viridian and Malachite "Crusoe"), or something to do with the chemical combination of Cr2O3 and Cu2CO3(OH)2. But that's chemistry, so you'd have to ask Pauling.

In the meantime, I'll plug for the Verdant Main, and see if the locals like it.

The Rung Sea reminds me of rim jobs, but then again what doesn't, right?
