http://www.leagueoflegends.com Gameplay summary: This is a PvP game where in each match you join a team of 5 players against another team of 5 players to destroy the opposing base. There is a 2D map with towers belonging to each side, and you must destroy the opposing towers in order to reach your opponents' base on the other side of the map. Each person controls a single champion, who gains experience (for levels and skills) and gold (for equipment) over the course of the match. This experience and gold does NOT persist across matches; each match is a self-contained journey from level 1 to 18 (max level). League of Legends has rapidly gained popularity across the globe over the past couple years, recently surpassing World of Warcraft AND Starcraft II in popularity in South Korea. I play too Ajsboy, playing support because noone else ever wants to, (i'm ajsboy on EU west). And actually its a game for scrubs who want a slightly better community than HoN and DoTa, and I say slightly because its still a crap community. LB is my main. I tend to absolutely rape with her. Here's my build order: Mejai's -> Sorcerers Boots -> Rabadons -> Rod of the Ages -> Void Staff -> OPTIONS: Lich Bane, Abyssal Scepter, Archangels Staff, Morello's Evil Tome, Banshee's Veil... basically your 6th item is based off what you need most at that point in the game. I prefer this build over the archangels-staff-spam build because it keeps me strong from early on, throughout the entire game. If I'm doing well, I'll usually end a game around 900-1000 AP, and have at least a 7-1 KDR. EDIT1: I've only played one game with LB recently, so I'm a bit rusty...but here was the result:   It's definitely not 7-1, but I think it gets my point across. EDIT2: I'll go a bit more in depth since I realized a ton of people play LB the shitty way. Now, the skill order you use depends completely on the situation, but in general I use Q R W (W again to flash back) E. I would say I use this combination 80% of the time when initiating a 1 vs 1 fight. If I'm significantly fed or I just know my Q R is enough to basically kill somebody, I'll sometimes initiate with a W to close distance, followed by a quick Q R E and finally another W to flash back out. I rage so hard when I see other LeBlanc's initiate with a W E followed by a Q R. If I'm mirroring this LeBlanc, they're fucked because I'll just Q R W E W them before they can silence me with their Q, and they aren't able to finish their burst on me, and generally they die. LeBlanc is all about her burst damage; To maximize this burst damage people need to realize that her Q has a second part to it that both damages, AND silences the enemy when activated. To activate the second half of LeBlanc's Q, another ability needs to be used on the opponent while the sigil mark is still seen above the enemy champions head. This means that when I throw my Q R W(W) E combo, I proc my Q and my R (since the R is acting as a Q), and it maximizes the damage she can deal. When people use W E Q R or E W Q R, they're not allowing their mimic'd Q (the R) to get proc'd, which is literally 25% of her total damage. I throw the E last because if my initial burst of Q R W doesn't kill them, either the E will, or it will stun them after a couple seconds and allow me to throw another Q + a few auto attacks. Noone actually spams archangels unless they are trolling, 5 Archangels and a deathcap gives the largest possible ap, and as your build demonstrates, leblanc is just about the epitome of a glass cannon (ok RoA provides some survivability), my issue with leblanc is that any team with sense will focus her down and kill her immediately, you could say this about any ap carry but leblanc is hardcountered by just about any cc (as lets face it, her double is crap and you can tell the real one), i mean shes a good character for some people, i certainly despise playing against her mid (but then i hate mid anyway, morgana is always banned ;( ), she comes across to me as a shaco, will faceroll early game if fed but suffer late game. It's actually pretty easy to not get boned as LeBlanc, even when their team is out to get you. The trick is learning good positioning, and effectively using your flashes to hop over walls. I personally use ignite and flash as my summoner abilities when I play LeBlanc, so I have a triple flash that I can use to escape ganks. The only way I will get screwed over as LeBlanc is if an enemy with a stun or silence is hiding in a bush, and there's at least one other enemy nearby. Otherwise, I'll easily kill that enemy, or flash away to fight another day. You should never ever ever be initiating with LeBlanc in team fights; It's all about sticking to the outside edges and hiding in bushes that could be used as escape routes for the enemy. I'll start playing with her again and see if I can get a compilation of some good strategies and stuff to give you an idea of how I play her. ---------------------------------------- Striderrs Pretty much retired |

I decided to bump this thread as i'm in a league of legends mood, so to all of you pirate summoners i ask you, whats your favourite character for each of the 5 metagame positions: Top lane: Gangplank hands down, guess i'm a bit biased as a ypp player to but damn I like the pirate :P (although I am partial to singed). Jungle: Nocturne, DARRRRKKKKNESSSSSS, enough said (amumu comes a close second but hes a perma ban a lot of the time. Mid: Not a fan of mid/ap carries, Morgana if she isnt banned otherwise i guess annie or ryze. AD carry: Kog maw, great range and a passive that has secured many kills/laughs. Trynda is damn easy to counter or drive out from the game. I play majoroty of the game as solotop and I can say with the experience that one or two ganks to trynd and he's useless in the game since he can't catch with money anymore. Anyways my fav champions are Gankplank which is build to Tank rather than to Critplank which is crap in higher lvl games. Other champs I play is Sona, Alistar, Galio, Mordekaiser, Urgot. List is quite high because I am usually our team's "Joker". :P Add me Ragehead. I am currently in EUNE, but perhaps moving to West soon. |

Played DoTA, was good but didn't enjoy it. Played HoN, not as good, didn't enjoy it. Played LoL, I lold' and didn't enjoy it. Now, if we were to talk Warlocks or HHF, thats my game xD. 9 month bump anyone? I have been playing for a few months and love it *-* excluding the community, because let's face it, The better the player the more unpleasant they are. Screw them, we have our little YPP community right here. I haven't personally tried any other like Dota/Dota2 etc. But from what I hear the community is worse. Worse than League of Legends. No thank you. I prefer to play mid either Cho'gath or Katarina (Bilgewater skin. Because Pirates.) When mid is taken I do all but Jungle (with the rare exception when someone insists solo top) Top I play Vi or Riven. ADC: Caitlyn, Vayne or Sivir (Bandit skin. Sivir needs love too.) Support: Kayle (Battleborn skin aw yeah) or Blitz. Feel free to add me on EUW I'm called Sealitre don't expect much of me as I haven't even hit level 30 yet... I'm also working on a project of drawing all the champions (oh god why) chibi style. I started playing recently so I'm a total nub and don't know what I'm doing, but I'm Jack ODG on the EU West server. Same name on NA but I never use it. I suppose I could be talked into playing there more if I have people to play with regularly. I tried out several MMOs after the decline of puzzle pirates, and believe me, one of the best free MMOs is definitely League of Legends. Community of course is not as great as YPP mainly because of how competitive and popular the game is. I recommend definitely trying it out. Its a very skill based game, and there is no use irl money to get better/richer in game which i feel most people perfer (besides skins for the characters in your game).
