Weekend Contest -- Due end of Monday! Ubisoft wants some goodies for advertizing, so we thought we'd give you all the chance to be famous. They just told us about it, so it needs to be quick! [size=18]Screenshot Contest We need exciting, interesting screenshots that show off the game and the community. A fun, piratey mood is key, as well as packing in good stuff. What we want to see:

Names above heads... essential? preferred? whatever? perhaps? not at all? The reason I ask is because you want to give a consistent feel. I would suggest one extreme or the other, or a 50-50 ethos. It's unfair of you to completely exclude Viridian that way! (I've taken to announcing dumb/offensive names over crew chat as if I'm presenting an award.) Must screenshots be taken this weekend, or only turned in this weekend? I expect the latter but I like asking stupid questions to bug you, Nemo. ----------------------------------------

This is probably a stupid question, how much of the game window do the non-puzzle screenshots have to show? 1) Navigating with completion of level stars, no rum warning, and being pursued. It also mentions the crew feeling the first effects of the lack o' rum. 2) All alone with skellies. I like that the ocean "who" list is on this one, especially since it shows Dane as being the only living being on the island. 3) Swordfight after battle. Fairly generic, but it does have the last NPP knocked out text along with the "Yer team is victorious!" text. 4) Just for fun. It was just one o' those days. ;) Screenshots are fun. I went through a time when i muted everyone who shouted/heartiedme/challenged me to a fight/swore/irritated me/spammed my chat - I ended up with over 700 on my mute list. I was called the "Mute Queen" And then i started wondering why I had trouble getting people in the crew to come pillaging.... I'd muted half the crew as well.... ---------------------------------------- Phoenix - Black Plague to the core, Flag may change randomly.
