Question about SF rankings Reply to this Post

How often do the swordfighting rankings update? I'm #23 today and i went like 12-1 today, so i wanna see where i am. I think they should update faster...or have a projected list...like where you're going to be at the next update.

The rankings themselves update about every ten minutes. The Ultimate lists are updated once a day, around 2 or 3 in the morning (Pacific time). The top ten lists (as they used to be) would update as the same time as stats. I'm not sure on the rationale for the change, I'd guess it's because they don't want people obsessing over stats instead of enjoying the game.

The lists all update at 3 am game time, everyday.

The ranking works on an elo system, where if you defeat someone with a high amount of elo, you grab more elo from them, than if you were to defeat someone with a low amount. IE: Beating a Legendary boosts your elo more than beating a Master.

Similarly, losing to a Master loses more elo than losing to a Legendary.

12-1 against ables won't do much, 12-1 against higher ranked players can move you a bit. Typically going from #10 to #1 is around 15-0 against good players, there's a large gap between #1 ultimate and the lowest ultimate on most oceans.
