thx for the event was fun though the prizes as far as value were kinda all over the place and didnt make sense, like Shipwright only getting a ship's wheel that's like 6 dubs for all 4 placings, while rigging got a Marlin? that's worth 15 dubs? some of the others like distill got a nice variety in prizes too. The shipwright one just confused me the most as to why. I broke the top 100 so that's an accomplishment for me. |

Probably because rigging actually involves skill whereas shipwrightery is almost purely luck. But really, I think it's because the ship's wheel fits the whole shipwrightery theme. The sailfish was sorta close to rigging (rigging is a substitute for sails), but not quite on the mark, though. I didn't understand the distilling prize, though. I'm not sure how whatever the prize for that (I forget what it was... some big jaws or something?) relates to distilling. Chugging perhaps? xD Edit: blasted line breaks :S ---------------------------------------- Nickbush on every ocean (mostly Cobalt, Midnight, and recently Hunter) Native Cobaltean for life http://www.youtube.com/user/NickBush24 Avatar by the lovely Darkfaery ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by henryrules10 at Nov 4, 2009 9:43:23 PM] |

Top prize in shipwrighting was a gold ship's wheel. All the top prizes (and prizes 2nd-4th) were of approximately equal value, as checked on one subscriber ocean and one doubloon ocean. And yes, the shark's jaw referred to chugging drinks! |
