This is an optimistically-posted thread for test renders of Brigand King egg designs. I'm hoping that there will be a couple of people able and willing to help out with transforming the flat designs into rendered egg shapes. Thank you very much in advance if you can help! If you want help with rendering designs, you need to use a standard naming scheme for your file. This makes the process quicker and easier. Please use the following scheme: Yourname-BKname#_skin.png
Feedback on rendered designs belongs in this thread, but any discussion or questions about the event itself might be better in the main event thread here |

I tried to download studio max but it didnt work =(. I will try again tonight =). I was considering PMing the people who have helped before, but I think that would make them feel pressurized into helping, which is hardly fair, as it can take a lot of time! Nice to see you mates coming up with designs already! |

   OK, these is my tries. I learned from last Easter to make it "Seamless." My computer died, so I don't know when I will be able to get more rendering done =( I have permission to download the rendering program onto my sister's computer, but I won't get a chance to do that until probably Monday. The program you need is 3DStudio Max version 7 or later. You can get it for a 30 day free trial. It looks like you can download it here. It's a big file, you should probably check the system requirements before downloading to make sure your computer can run it. You'll also need the egg template. SilveRansom has made a simpler template you can find here . The first post in the event thread also has many helpful links, especially several tutorials on how to set things up in Max. Here are the simplest instructions. Once you've got it working it's pretty easy to render, but I did have to mess around a bit with the first few renders last spring to figure out what I was doing. You may also want the egg outline, which makes the eggs look more like they do in game. Could you possibly magically eggify these for me? :o I can do something similar on Photoshop, but it doesn't look quite the same.   Hmm, I have a feeling I have alot of editing in my near furture with these. Their faces are probably much too low. I filled in the WIP (second one) with black so I might be able to see the lines better than if it was white.
