Okay, one of yall clearly knows the answer to this question ..

Why is it mispelled? A storyline thing?

Tarantino was on Friday Night with Johnathon Ross(British chat show) the other day and said it was spelt like that because he wanted people to know it isn't the same as the original movie Inglorious Bastards and thats why they mispelled it.

Heres the interview

Seems like one of those ploys to slip by the MPAA. I remember that "Pecker" barely made it through as a title.

I've seen it advertised simply as "Inglorious" on British television. Is bastard really that bad a word?

That'd be fine if it was bad in the funny way...

And imo bastard's only a really bad word if you don't use it much.

During the daytime, I would say it is a bad idea and probably disallowed by regulators or something. However, I've seen it spelled Bastards rather than Basterds in some UK advertising.

Is it bad like Predator 2, or 'bad' (offensive), or just why-am-I-watching bad?

Not I.

Pulp Fiction - Awesome
Reservoir Dogs - Awesome
Death Proof - Awesome
Kill Bill - Awesome
True Romance - Awesome
Four Rooms (the man from hollywood segment) - Awesome
From Dusk Til Dawn - I actually rather enjoyed

I can't think of anything Tarantino's written that I'd classify as bad, to say nothing of "very very bad."

I've always wondered why MGS3:Snake Eater, an incredible romp through Cold War Russia with unbelievably deep plot and so much depth, never got a movie made out of it.

Whereas Hitman, a game about a bald guy killing peoples, is now a major movie.

WTFml.

The latest Metal Gear games employ enough video to make a feature length film anyway. Why bother with live action?

QFT...

Of the 43 hours of play it took over several months to reach the end of MGS3 on European Extreme difficulty (read: lots of CQC, and a hard The Sorrow), 18 hours of it was cutscenes.

IMDB seems to think that there is a Metal Gear movie in production.

I actually enjoyed it a lot, and some parts of the movie were hysterical. It was like a lot of his other movies, and I enjoyed the killing.

That's about it.
