The Summer Games are finally here! Events will begin on this Friday, August 3rd. Events will start out with our "Festival of Piracy " which begins on the 8th and finishes with a series of tan familiar contests on the 15th, 16th and 17th. All contests will be set up using tiered prize distribution so the top incredible, top excellent, top good and top fine players will receive prizes! The competitions will continue with the "Finals Events " which will run for another week. All contests in this segment will be set up using ranked prize distribution so the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th players will receive prizes. We will then finish up the summer games with a "Familiar Frenzy Finale" competition on Sunday the 24th which will feature all puzzles and give out a total of 10 familiars in one event! Good Luck! A quick note here: Our apologies to everybody who experienced some troubles with the prizes over this weekend. We are currently working to fix a problem with prizes not being awarded in certain categories despite there being qualified pirates in the competition. To folks who are winning portraits: until we change the way that portraits are created, please click the button in the Ahoy! panel to create the portrait before logging off to be safe! As always, thank you for your patience while we iron out these problems and while we add new features to the competitions.
