Ahoy mates, As many of you are aware, we're launching Dark Seas into Early Access on Steam next weekend. We're a much smaller team than we used to be and we're not entirely sure how much of our attention this launch will take - especially if something major comes up. We don't want to be in a position where a blockade needs Ocean Master intervention and we're unable to respond as quickly as we'd like. To that end, much like during the December holiday, we have decided to make a rare exception and put blockades for this weekend on hold. Let me be clear: this will not be a regular thing nor does it indicate whether we will or will not need to do this again in the future. We just need to be prepared for any eventuality and don't want to cause an issue on our classic oceans if we suddenly are needed to deal with a problem during launch of the new ocean. We want both classic YPP and Dark Seas (DS) to be successful. We plan to continue developing for both in the future. We'll be watching changes made to Dark Seas to see if they'd work for our classic oceans. Obviously not all changes would be considered for classic YPP, but we want to continue to improve both version of the game. ---------------------------------------- Current avatar by Podgekins Tinfoil, popsicle sticks, and paste make for a nice shiny new hat! ---------------------------------------- [Edit 2 times, last edit by Cronus at Sep 11, 2017 11:51:55 AM] |
