People's Choice Easter Eggs! 2011 The Design Egg Furniture for the Game 2011! event is finished, and has been judged! Thus, it must be time for the People's Choice contest to begin! How to enter your vote: Choose your favourite 5 eggs from the rendered egg page on Yppedia that do not include eggs that were selected as the winning entries for this year, and were not created by yourself! Record the name of the artist who made the egg, and the egg number (from left to right). Rank your favourite five eggs from 1 to 5 (with your most favourite being 1st), and PM your choices to Eggrielle, along with your pirate name and ocean, by midnight game-time on the 11th of April, 2011! Please don't post your choices in this thread! How votes will be scored: The People's Choice Easter Eggs votes will be scored using a points system: 1st choice = 5 points 2nd choice = 4 points 3rd choice = 3 points 4th choice = 2 points 5th choice = 1 point The winning eggs will be those that score the most points overall. If your egg is chosen as a winner of the People's Choice, you will receive unlimited bragging rights! The lovely OMelette, Apollo, will also be rewarding winners with some eggsellent prizes from this years' clutch! Whew! That was difficult. Had to rejigger the list because I'd inadvertently put in one of the winning eggs (I really like Phillite's, apparently!) Yes, voting was hard, there were so many great eggs, I had a hard time deciding which i liked best! Thank you to everyone who voted in this year's people's choice event! A large number of eggs received votes, and I'm sure we would all agree that choosing five to vote for was extremely difficult! But, without further ado, The winners are: In first place, and with a whopping 32 points - Dexla of Midnight's 2nd egg! As well as extreme bragging rights, Dexla wins the two event eggs from this year's clutch!  In second place, scoring 20 points, and winning Sandiibottom's fourth prize-winning egg - Meadflagon of Cobalt's 1st egg!  In third place, scoring 19 points, and winning Master's second prize-winning egg - Inessa of Viridian's 3rd egg!  In fourth place, scoring 16 points, and winning Sandiibottom's third prize-winning egg - Dexla of Midnight's 3rd egg!  In joint-fifth place: (scoring 14 points each) Winning Greylady's third prize-winning egg, Sallymae of Viridian's 1st egg!  Winning Herowena's prize-winning egg, Greylady of Malachite's 4th egg!  And in joint-sixth place: (scoring 13 points each) Winning Masters's prize-winning egg, Arghhpirate of Viridian's 1st egg!  Winning Phillite's fourth prize-winning egg, Evilmermaid of Cobalt's 6th egg!  Winning Kirke's prize-winning egg, Selora of Viridian's 1st egg!  Winning Renaata's prize-winning egg, Pletoo of Sage's 3rd egg!  Winning Faeree's second prize-winning egg, Adrielle of Viridian's 4th egg! Wow! Someone actually liked one of my eggs enough to vote for it? I'm very flattered. Thank you very much voters! Congrats to all the other winners as well. I'm still surprised Dex's Peacock feathers egg didn't get chosen. I was so sure it would, I had a portrait already in mind and everything. =( Also..... Yaaaay Meaaaadddiiiiiieeeeee!! Woohooo! Thanks for calculating the results so quickly, and holy moly, I'm so surprised and honored to be in such eggsteemed company! OK, that really was a stretch. But thanks again, the egg designing time of year is always a lot of fun, it's so cool to see how creative people are within the constraints of the egg. The eggstraints, if you will. ... Anyway, it's fun to see them all, and hard to choose a top 5. But I know we'll all be at it again next year, and I'm looking forward to it!
