Ahoy! As you may know if you read my Twitter, I'm on holiday! I've been travelling around England, and I'll be in London over the weekend, which strikes me as a prime opportunity to meet with those of you who are willing and able to make it into town. I will be at the Cittie of York pub from noon (sharp!) until at least two o'clock (that's BST) this Saturday, the 25th of July. If any of you would care to join me for lunch, or just to drop by and say hello, I'll be the one with the blue backpack. :-) EDIT: Someone has advised me they'll bring me a pirate hat. I'll be the one in the pirate hat! Most people travel using a plane, train, or bus. Personally, I find the TARDIS much more convenient. Yes, July. Chalk it up to holiday brain! ---------------------------------------- A Pirate says, "u know OMs are much nicer than i thought" Avatar by Therunt! |

WOW! I reckon there will be a huge line with English pirates in it... all holding gifts and Fan...creations for you! Unfortunatly, I'm not allowed to London, nor in a pub :( Am I allowed to send a messenger Pidgeon? I can get my hands on one of them Easy! ---------------------------------------- Lcawte All Oceans Sage: Lcawte - Captain Of Scottish Seadogs , King Of Scottish Seakings 3/4 Retired/On Break. |

Since when has the TARDIS been that reliable? You try going back to last June and you end up back in the Stone Age trying to keep Martians from enslaving cavemen and forcing them to build concentric circles on some big island for their rock-based Death Ray. ---------------------------------------- A Ghyslaine and a Rhodin for every Ocean, but mostly on Viridian. Can I have a parrot or 2, I deserve them* Gaea says "No" ---------------------------------------- Lcawte All Oceans Sage: Lcawte - Captain Of Scottish Seadogs , King Of Scottish Seakings 3/4 Retired/On Break. |

This should be interesting. Gaea, I advise you read 'Charthrob' by Ben Elton. You'll see exactly the kind of people you'll be dealing with. Blingers Example: Flavor yo wassupy Geae like what is up cos you is here in London lol man ight so hers the deel cos I is can has awesome chek it out Mingers Example: Anyone with the word 'Sexy', 'Sxc' or 'Hot' in their pirate name. Clingers Example: Under thirteen players who have been playing for less than three months, or less than a year if they have yet to meet an OM. omg omg omg omg omg like omg omg it's yoooou you look awesome can I take a -- Have some more friendly warning info. Remember, the bathroom is the loo, the elevator is the lift, the travelator is the escalator, and 'How are you' means 'Hello', and is not an enquiry as to your well-being. There are no referendums in England and everyone hates the governing body, 'Labour Party', who arn't anywhere near as fun as the name suggests and have nothing to do with the public holiday Labour Day. Which doesn't exist in England. UPDATE: My geography sucks. The south wins, and Yorkshire isn't as north as I thought. HAMPSHIRE FTW! Don't get on the M4 (M here meaning Route) because then you're going north, which is the direction which you DO NOT WANT. Lolcats are popular but do not mention them to anyone who isn't wearing glasses. Your phone, necklace, bracelets, hair, virginity(?), clothes and pen will be stolen while you are sitting down, and possibly before. You'll want a lager shandy, not a beer. Massproduction English beer is not for the faint-hearted. Absolutely nobody will know who you are except the people who come in after 12am. A mile is 1.6 km. That means 8km is 5 miles. Imperial does not refer to Brigands, it refers to units. Any trains will be at least seven hours late. Any buses will be at least seven hours late. You will have several stalkers. Cabs (Oh, that's more idiom. A taxi is a cab.) are not yellow, they are whatever colour they will be. In London, most are black. I won't be coming but I expect a trophy for it anyway >_> English people do not wear tophats, tailjackets, carry sceptres, have moustaches, acne, or any other stereotypes Fox has launched on you. Your accent will be noted, poked fun at, laughed at, make three men fall in love with you, make two homosexuals turn straight, make 0.4 furrys consider heterosexuality, and make one lesbian stripper offer you a freebie. Don't go down that street. There are no horses in London. Yes, that smell is what you think it is, and you've stepped in it four times. If you give a beggar anything, he will Level 7 Cast Summon Beggar and cause one hundred and seventeen more to ask you the same question. Good luck on surviving! ---------------------------------------- [Edit 5 times, last edit by name_unknown at Jul 22, 2009 2:43:10 AM] |

GMT is not the time used in Britain during the summer time, that's BST, which most of the year has an 8-hour difference with pirate time. Ye may wish to re-edit. ---------------------------------------- http://tinyurl.com/delft2010 register mates! |

Gaea, I live 30 minutes away from that pub on the train, I will try to make it if I get time. While you're in London try to visit Southbank, my favourite place in London. Its fun :) I think Udderbelly will still be there (A big purple upside-down cow) ---------------------------------------- ################################# Damala tells you, "You're my hero and villain" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Devil has an ALT, her name be CROFT!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Evil Captain of Cruel Intentions!! |

There's a lot of football discussion here, and relatively little "zomg, yes, see you Saturday". Step it up, Britain! |
