Here's all the details you may need: Where ? Paihia island When? 2nd May, Saturday, Noon gametime. Starting pay? 750/seg. Sinking? No clue. Jc's? Fritzie and Perkee. We'll start jobbing 1:30 hours ahead of the blockade for preblockade events. Click here for the intent video. Note: We have no intention of sitting on these islands for a long time. We just want our blockade fun. However, we promise to keep every outpost stocked at reasonable prices while they are under our ownership. I really enjoyed the rabbit contest we organized last week, so i came up with two new games for this week for our football and NASCAR fans! Game #1:  All you need to do is predict the winner of the race scheduled on 2nd May at Richmond later after our blockade. We'll be giving away 3 sloops to the first 3 correct prediction, while all others who get it right get a random starfish. Game #2:  Predict the score of the English Premier League match on 3rd May between Liverpool and Newcastle to be held at Anfield! The prize for predicting the right score is 150K. However incase of ties/multple winners, the prize will be shared among each winner. BONUS - We'll throw a 150K bonus if you predict the goalscorer(s) as well correctly of the winning side! For example - If you think the score is 2-1 in favour of Liverpool, make sure you guess the two goalscorers as well for Liverpool to grab a chance for the bonus! You can only post your predictions till Paihia Round 1 goes live. Any post after that will be ineligible. Everyone is free to participate in both the games! Sounds like great fun, good luck RR! As for the contests, I'll give it a shot. I'll go with Jeff Gordon for the winner of Nascar. For the English Premier League, I'll go 4-1 Liverpool in favor... Good luck. I'm liking the activity from RR... Well, potentially. It depends if this kickstarts some blockade frenzy or turns into another squalid "alliance of doom haz all island!" moment. :P So sports. I'm going Newcastle, 1-0. Owen's as good a shout as any for the goal. No prediction for the "driving in circles REALLY fast" award. I don't follow that nonsense. :P Why not throw a boxing prediction out too since we're doing sports eh? Hatton to win by stoppage in the latter stages, rounds 9-12. Should be a great fight though. ----------------------------------------

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I reckon. Ya' ever take a 3/4 of a mile stroll on a beautiful starry Saturday night with 30+ cars whizzing by you at 140+ mph 3 feet away from you with noise deadening headphones that don't do anything to stop it from being so loud you can barely think? The rush of that is certainly not non-sensical. Don't knock it until you try it :p PS...No love for RCR yet? Kevin Harvick and Clint Bowyer have both won there in the last 6 races. Local boy Denny Hamlin was REAL strong there last year until a cut tire derailed him late, plus he's sat on a few poles. ---------------------------------------- There are two kinds of dumb..the guy that gets naked and runs out in the snow and barks at the moon, and the guy who does the same thing in my living room. First one don't matter, the second one you're kinda forced to deal with. |

Erm, Tom, yes you should have. (As I'm not a big Jimmie Johnson or Jeff Gordon fan ) I'm hoping that Jr. can end his dry streak here, as he has been successful at this track in the past. Probably gonna have to get around that teammate of his first, though. Mads, Hank is right, having experienced the thrill of Bristol. I found out fast why they call it Thunder Valley. Couldn't hear for about three days afterwards. There is no overtime. It's just a league match... Just for clarity then, are you saying 2-1 liverpool after 90 minutes, or 1-1? Unless by overtime you mean injury time/time added on? I'm confused, but ambiguous comments like this often lead to disputes, and nobody wants that. (Well, at least not about something trivial, I'd love some controversy on the blockade board, that's always a giggle for the neutrals :P) ----------------------------------------
