Seems to be based on an arabic theme.

What do influence rings look like on these ships? Do they seem to be viable for blockades, or are they merchantish?

I doubt they would be merchantish as the Cutter hold size increase is one factor that indicates these ships are for pillaging on.

You know, the booty chest on the back of the Dhow is kind of clunky.

Would it be possible to move that into the Captain's cabin (replacing one of the chests on either side of the desk) instead, or just toss it and rely on the one below decks?

The Baghlah isn't so bad, though if you moved that one too I'd be fine with that.

The rear deck cries out for nice furnishings, but the chest precludes a number of possibilities.

Both of these ships could use a hold closer to the helm for easy access by the officer at the wheel to check stock and whatever else is in there.

Yes, according to Yohoho tools, but not separately from the rest of the ship: you can paint those ships two colors, like all the others.

When you paint the ship, the canopy colors should change to match (or that's what the OM said, unless I misunderstood)

By the way, while the couch and banners appear to be the same on all ships (red and white), the other stuff appears to be random. I just got a baghlah with black plants and black globe table. Wheee lucky me.

This rules. My only disapointment is that the Baghlah battlenav graphic wasn't more of a Xebec rig. Maybe that's room for future expansion, in another war boat class between brig and frig.

Was that from a tourney or from a shipyard? If it was from a tourney I'd imagine it's an artifact of the way the Ringers set up automatic tournaments, which is to basically say "Every x hours, repeat this tournament, and create a copy of this as a prize." Kind of the same way so many people won Arcturus' hat in good condition last summer.

No tourney, Orsino. My ships were straight from the ship stall. However, the ones pictured here might have been tournament ones, so I'll have to compare with others.

My dhow from the shipyard has green potted plants, and my bagleah has black ones (plus the black globe table). I have another of each on order and will check 'em when they get done.

The teal and tan ship up there is mine, when you paint the sides it paints everything you see painted in that photo. Something like 122 sides 135 rails for paint, I don't recall. I won mine the first night on Ice in a drinking tourney if that clears things up for you.
