Re: Cobalt Challenge Coalition: Win Everything! (Week Cinco, Party Time!)

Party time, yo!

lolwut?

Cha. Every 5 weeks we do challenges, there'll be a ceremony. A pretty big one, too. This one just happens to be on December 31, New Years Eve!

I WANT PRIZES

Wrong question.

Coolio! Where is it?

Since we're a big bunch of cheapos, and can't afford, say, an estate, the The Back Room of the inn on Labyrinth Moors. That's a mouthful to say.

I WANT PRIZES
Go get some then.

Re: Cobalt Challenge Coalition: Win Everything! (Week Cinco, Party Time!)

Stevensam has stopped supporting this Event, and Challenger had too much trouble paying for all the prizes, and keeping it going in general. For the time being, it is canceled, but it may be restarted in the future if funds are met.

I'm not sure how active Challenger is on the forums, so if you have any further questions, please let me know and I'll do my best to help out.

If anyone is interested in funding this, please contact Challenger in-game, or me on the forums and I can contact him at a later time.

Re: Cobalt Challenge Coalition: Win Everything! (Week Cinco, Party Time!)

Any comment from Steven as to why he stopped funding?

I "stopped funding" for a few reasons I guess. Shortly before the event was posted on the forums, I tried to make it clear that I really shouldn't be running the event, but that I would give Challenger the money he needed to buy prizes and such. Even still, I agreed to help him with ideas, just didn't want to have to create ideas on my own, since I am a busy student in college at the moment. As the first few weeks went on, we quickly began running out of challenge ideas and Challenger would forget to post the new challenges on the day they were supposed to be posted. I had a lot of faith in this event, which is why I wanted to be a part of it, but it just seemed to me that it wasn't going to last. Nothing personal against Challenger, but taking on an event of this size didn't seem like a wise choice for someone's first event. Perhaps I should've been wiser and not contributed at all, I'm not really sure. I guess it just seemed like a good idea at the time and I really wanted to do some good for a fellow up-and-coming event runner. I apologize if it seems that the event stopped running simply because I stopped paying. Last I recall, I gave Challenger some poe for his "month end party" and no one showed up, which seemed to disappoint Challenger. I really would encourage this event to start again, but I'm not sure how much of a part I'd be willing to play in it again.

Thanks. Was just wondering if the idea was still worth funding or not.
