Vanguard Poem
Ok after seeing all the blocades involving vanguard i thought it was only right to post this quick poem i wrote

Vision of Freedom
Vanguard the smouldering ruins
Their fleets lay forever dormant at the bottom of the ocean
Rejoice their monopolistic ways are dead
The ocean can once again be peaceful
But to mourn for the lives they took the ships they sank
But those brave souls will rest in peace
For they sacrificed their lives for freedom honour and hope
And it was not in vain vanguard is no more
But its memory will shadow our consciousnesses forever

By Lozoz

a quickly done poem but its worth the small amount of time it took

Very nice poem. I'm moved out of this thread and away from the ad hominemistic views towards how this game should be played.

War solves virtually every problem, unfortunately it usually creates more problems, kind of like those medicines whose side affects are worse than the symptons themselves.

I don't believe in ending wars in video games. Video games need strife, otherwise they get boring. The next couple of weeks should be memorable no matter who wins what, and I'm proud to be a part of it.

You realise you can't have a blockade without a war declaration right?

Besides... since when have I been known as a "peace loving pirate"? I always thought the title that was handed down at one point was "war mongering tart queen".....

Why are you so intent on saying "Suck it" in every post you make? Seriously, it just makes people want to ignore you even if they overlook the punctuation/spelling/lackofcoherentideas.

Considering the combination of the phrase and the avatar featuring muscular men in very tight short-shorts, I'm thinking it's Freudian.

Or possibly an attempt at a catch-phrase, though I like 'Don't have a cow, man' better.

Either way, thanks to Goats, it's making me want a lollipop. Good thing it's Hallowe'en and I get a staff discount at a store which sells them.

Do us all a favor and choose yourself a new gimmick, rather than a childish and immature wrestling angle fashioned by two people much past their prime.

Not to mention the current angle is a 'third wave' DX, and saying "suck it" is worthless without X-Pac in the background.
