Favorite Parlor Game
Would ye help with a quick poll. What's your favorite parlor game? Thanks.

Drinking Game
Hearts
Poker
Brawling
Spades
Treasure Drop
Rumble
Swordfights (although not technically a parlor game)

Re: Favorite Parlor Game
There used to be polls on these forums, I believe, but they got scrapped for some reason or another, unless I'm completely raving. I don't think they are quite welcome, though that too may be a figment of my imagination. As for manual polls, it is not a very accurate thing, because only so many of the players read the forums, and only so many forum-readers would bother voting.

EDIT: If I booched, then my game is Drinking. ;)

Re: Favorite Parlor Game
Thanks. It's hard to know. Figuring out the quirks of some online communities is like navigating a minefield sometimes. I didn't see a "don't do it" notice anywhere, so I hope it's ok.

Thanks for your response. This is actually for a reason and not just that I'm curious. :)

Re: Favorite Parlor Game
Brawling be it SF or Rumble. Probably because it is less common than one on ones.

Re: Favorite Parlor Game
Swordfight by a mile, followed by treasure drop, then drinkin'.

Re: Favorite Parlor Game
I'd have to say, definately Rumble, followed closely by non-turbo Treasure Drop, then SF.

Re: Favorite Parlor Game
Treasure Drop - it is the only one which has as close to no luck as possible (non holes obviously) and as I have incredibly terrible luck as to almost verge on not funny it is a good game for me!

SF comes a close second as it's pace can be really exciting... especially on close matches!

Re: Favorite Parlor Game
Tough decision for me but i'd have to say rumbling followed by drinking. Rumbling has the excitement element to it and requires less luck than drinking does.

Re: Favorite Parlor Game
Hmm...

Old drinking.
I haven't really played drinkout new drinking, but it should be close.
I don't think it's possible to have mugs and only one choice.
(And I don't think mugs are balanced well enough, but that's another matter.)

Next? Hearts. I like spades, but getting a trustable teammate is "teh suxxor".

Next? Poker, swords, rumble.

TD? 5 lever on ice. Not perfect -- round 4 can last a *long* time.

Spades! By far. However the lack of spades players in the game is dissapointing and so I never actually get to play :/

Poker, followed closely by new drinking. Old drinking was just purely luck.

Poker...because it got me to come back to the game after a year.

Maybe after I get back to my old ability something else will replace it. I'm definately not used to the new drinking.

Re: Favorite Parlor Game
Hearts, and Swordfight (which obviously doesn't count at all). I enjoy drinking even though haven't the slightest what I'm doing. I just sort of put down what I can, and use the hook. But I tend to win and I like winning, I guess.

I kinda like Treasure Drop when I'm waiting for enough people to gather to fight skellies.
